I think you missed 2 of EO's best set ups. The Lloyd Blankfein Top and the kitty formation.

p.s. Nice G/U short trade from 5820.

Entry bit late, cos 1st one being stopped out a moment ago, 2nd one paid me well to recover

We're all a bunch of forex geeks, cause that stuff actually really cracks me up

Nice going on your short! I closed and reversed my position at 50 ema which was also right at the daily pivot. Took my profit at 10ema Was a nice long either way!

Did anyone fade the 00 on e/j yesterday afternoon. then a retest of that 00. i took two small trades there. I should have held the second

When you look at it now it is easy to see and to take those trades . The hard thing comes when in real time those are solid bullish green candles when you want to enter . a bit nerve racking.

Hi BC,
I know you trade a bit different style but from my point of view your first trade was a bit too early. The 5800 level was a s&r zone and I would prefer in this case a clear break of the 5800 or better a retest.

@Ken Nice e/j range trades yesterday unfortunately I wasn't at home

Hi Storeball,
I thought about using pivot points but I think when I add them to my arsenal there will be too much on my charts. For me there is always the danger of analysis paralysis.

I got chickened out of my trade at b/e. My last 4 hr candle looks really bearish.

Im really starting to enjoy those fade 00 entries. Although I cant say im comfortable taking them just on its own, but spice it up with some ppa or trading zone and they're mighty fine

Yes I did, but only that retest. Always like when 1h candle reject zero area, got PO there usually. Today we got very similar sytuation on GU at 5800.

Getting used to that is a big challenge but one I think i'm close to overcoming.

Store and I took the same short on GU that McFly took, a reversal off the top. It was a big, powerful looking bullish candle and then she obliterated the ppa line and rocketed up 15 pips pat it, heart in the mouth time with a 17 pip stop but then sure enough, reversed and came all the way down to a TP at the 50 ema and 60 pips.

As you say, if you trust your areas, you have to take the touch regardless of how big and scary the candle is that you are trading against.

I got this E/J trade earlier, based on the post you had yesterday or the day before about the mini inverted H&S (I think GU was the example). My first entry was at the higher low after the head but that got stopped at BE, second entry was a success

See the difference how much information you have on your screen can change your view . Doc's chart showing that step makes the better entries clear as a bell.. Be carefull that you don't have your charts zoomed in to far or have the abiity to see the hrly and 4 hr as well at the same time..


When I am looking for my next entry location I glance at all three. And I look at the daily for a overall view of any areas that may come into play during the day . As in anything else in life the right information can make the difference between a good trade and a great trade.

Took it off a daily line I have here at 1.5792 .alrady took 1/2 off though as counter trend till it makes a lower low. If it does will look for a add on spot if not will look for most profits I can , could start going sideways u.s. afternoons have been tough latelly

Hi Ken,
iI'm watching the 5760-5770 area too. Atm the level is holding. A close below the 4 hr 10 ema would also help. If she breaks the 5800 I'm looking for a 15 m bounce of the 5800 area for a long entry.
