GBP/JPY H1 and H4 both have flat KS at about 133.20, so possible price may attract back to this point...?

it can be done like Geraldfx but took me some time, settings off the ichi monitor V4 are : -120 for textoffsetfromright and -150 textoffsetfromtop. Maybe someone can use it. Thx for the example Geraldfx, before i had to look at 15 charts with one screen, not so handy.

Here's some tips to improve your charts:

1. Press F8 > Common > Tick "Chart on foreground"
2.
a. Create another chart and set it to just your background color by press F8, and colors all switch to "none".
b. In this currency, make sure it is the last in your list.
c. Now you can type your trading rules here and keep you reminded (use text label)!

check my screenshot! hope this helps.

cheers.

now that my charts are fixed i am going to see if i am able to update that sheet. I believe that the numbering has changed, i missed yesterday and a part off today so i have to catch up some reading.
What i noticed this morning is that, even though h1 & h4 are bullish, its not a garentee that prices will rise.
Thx for all your efforts. Have a great weekend.

Hello Ichimoku lovers!

I’m looking at some trading opportunities for next week:

GBPUSD: Buying dips while trading above the weekly kumo.

GBPJPY: Breaking out above daily kumo. Looking for buying opportunities.

AUDJPY & NZDJPY: Breaking out above weekly kumo. Daily is bullish. Looking for buying opportunities.

Have a nice weekend!

Hello Adrian

nice to see you around in the thread , i agree with you about the GBP USD and GBP JPY view

they both looks awesome on the higher TFs ( daily + weekly )

i believe we can get a good run with GBP USD , we have a strong Ts KS cross on the daily chart which might push the pair higher specially we are out of the weekly kumo but i'd pref tp see a 4hrs kumo break before any entries

The AUD JPY also looks great specially we also have a strong TS KS on the daily chart and the 4hrs is ready to go

regarding the GBP JPY u may check my view about the pair in this post

http://www.forexfactory.com/showpost...ostcount=14335

and i don't trade the NZD so i'll not be able to provide my view for it

thanks again for being around
have a great day
cheers
Vic

I see Ichi charts with clouds extended to the right of the price action.

This is what i get on my system, the price action and cloud are in-line with each other.

Is this a normal Ichi chart or is the setting wrong? I am using the default setting.

Hi Vic, you’re welcome.

Actually I am going long GBP and short JPY. I do think JPY crosses are bottoming although monthly and weekly timeframes could still being bearish. Regarding GBP, I see this currency is getting stronger and stronger… even against the Euro.

These trading opportunities I am looking for are for swing trading taking signals in 4h TF with entries in 15-min TF.

For day trading, basically, I am trading crosses of the fantastic four: EUR-USD-GBP-JPY.

Enjoy your weekend!

Adrian

Hi Jimobiwan, are you trading in demo? I saw that problem in demo accts of Active Trader platform from FXCM... I don't know why, but that setup is wrong. You must have the future kumo in your charts.

best,

A.

Hi Arodriguez,

The chart thingy is a chart-only system. Is an independent station. I trade for real using the charts on this station.

The settings say
Tenkan sen 9
Kijun-sen 26
Senkou Span 52
Chikou Span 26 (switched off to make chart clearer)
Hori Shift 26

can i change one of these numbers to move the cloud?

No idea. I do think your settings are OK, the problem is that your charting program is not projecting the cloud. Is not an issue in the setting values, is how the software shows the kumo. I think so... I am not expert on charting software...

Guys

just to give you an idea about the new modifications i made to the sheet.

whenever we have a signal the sheet will go directly to the strength table and compare the strength of the 2 pairs to advise us if this signal is strong or medium or weak.

strong signal : Strongest VS Weakest
Medium signal :2nd strongest VS 2nd weakest
Weak signal :3rd strongest VS 3rd weakest

please feel free to give me ur feedback

have a great weekend all
cheers
