i'd be caution trading eur usd

the bigger picture is mixed somehow
thu we might have a close above the daily cloud that will give it some strength still we will meet Ts and Ks which are supposed to resist the pair

the weekly chart seems like the pair is fighting Ts , if we managed to get a weekly close above the kumo this will for sure push the pair higher

if the pair jumped inside the daily kumo again it means that still facing pressure and might push lower

aha this is why there are some difference between the strength you use and the one in the sheet , but as long as they are working good with you then it is great.

Although I think we should build an equal base for our discussion therefore I would suggest that all use the same ichi-params, don't we?

i totally agree with you , we shall align our work together , i think the sheet will help us at least to be trading the same direction and the same pairs

and meanwhile we can give legalindo parameters a chance to test them , he is trading them so no one of us will be asked to test them , we will only need to follow his entries that is agreed with the sheet and see if we can use them instead of the basic settings.

i just wish that we all work as one and stick with our rules for a while and see what will be the outcome

I think it would be nice if you could share your dash indi, save evrybody the effort of having to do the spreadsheet every hour. Plus the need for someone to essentially duplicate/replicate the sheets into an indicator.

i think if the dash board is shared we will work individually and we all will not be able to test this new method.

better that we have a place where it is shared on it and we all to follow it , may be if nightyhawk can post it in here every hr , or may be we can find some place like google where he can share it with us all and update it on hrly basis or even each 4hrs

Hi Vic, I think the dash will give the same result as the spreadsheet, only difference being that one will not have to manually input data into spreadsheets every hour. This saves having to access a centrally produced spreadsheet, which would have to be manually updated by a different somebody every hour for maybe 24 hrs, plus having to ensure that there will never be any data input errors. Not sure anybody could guarantee that.
If we individually use the spreadsheet and input data ourselves, although you can then update for your own trading times and have confidence in data input for yourself ( or suffer for your own error if you make a mistake) you will actually get more consistent results across the spectrum of users if everybody used an automatically updating indicator.
This helps in two ways. One, there is time to have a more quality discussion on trading strategy based on what the indi dash tells us. Two, we could use different settings on ichi to test out various market conditions, thereby adding to our trading knowledge base.
Of course, NH has to agree to share it with us first.

It seems like people always think that someone should just let them have the indicator they made just because. Just because NH has an indicator that was made to the system that is discussed here does not mean that he would need to share it. And even if he did share why should it be for free? Even a small amount would add up if a bunch of people bought it but again it is his choice. Say for example its $10 that keeps the people that just want anything away because it’s not free and it gives the person that made it a little money.

I think the spreadsheet is showing basically what his indicator does so I don’t see where it’s a problem to not have the indicator. I use the spread sheet it does not take that long to fill in, I think it helps in developing a plan that you stick to when you fill in the sheet every hour. It gets you in the habit of looking at your plan every hour (I added a spot on mine where I put the entry time frame for each pair too , to me some seem ok down on 5 and some need to be longer). So even though it would be easier to just have an indicator show you what the buys are it can be done without it. and filling the page out has you looking at your plan every hour. I think in the end following a plan and not an indicator is one of the things I have trouble with, so the sheet helps me a lot.

What I did was made an alert for VT trader that will ring at me for an up cross or a down cross of T/K (you just check the option you want) so I use the spread sheet get the pairs to watch then I load those onto VT trader with my alerts set for the direction I need to be alerted in.

And for the check on the hour and 4 hour I made a copy of the ichimoku indicator that only shows the kumo that I have on a chart by itself and just flip through the pairs.

A few of us are helping out in this spreadsheet. I hope we could standardize them and start updating it hourly and trade on it (demo) to test it. When we confirmed that the data is ok, i think we can share this spreadsheet. Or should we work the other way round? Hmm..

I have updated the sheet, apart from GBP/AUD which is not available through Alpari.

EUR/JPY One to watch for breakout shortly on M5 in line with H1 nd H4.

GBP-JPY Also heading towards a possible break long shortly on the M5

GBP/JPY H1 and H4 both have flat KS at about 133.20, so possible price may attract back to this point...?
