Check out post #21 as this trader claimed he met the Jackel.....I mean Jacko. Seems that might be a good lead. This trader seems to know alot about Jacko if his post can be believed.

Good luck in your efforts tracking him down.

Yeah, because that's Jacko under a different name, he had other usernames as well mentioned in this thread, but he hasn't used any of them since he disappeared

There were already some discussion about that username, and others that are related to jacko in early stage of this scam being revealed.

As a longtime ForexFactory participant, I would like to note publicly my disgust and outrage over what has taken place here in this thread. My sympathy goes out to those who were taken.

I hope "Jacko" is brought to justice, wherever he/they may be.

I am well versed in the discipline of Business Ethics, having taught it many times at the university level. Twee's posts regarding this incident are smug and irresponsible. The administrators of this forum cannot simply turn a blind eye to what goes on here, saying "we just provide a platform for discussion." At best, it is moral laziness; they surely leave themselves open for worse imputations of moral culpability. As Twee himself noted, there were warning signs a year in advance on the part of the poster posing as Wayne Jackson/Jacko. Yes, people are ultimately responsible for their own investment decisions; however, it is the responsibility of those running the forum to do a certain amount of policing to ensure that crooks are not allowed to pose as legitimate contributors. If there are signs of trouble, they must be followed up on, not ignored.

The fact that this incident has essentially been swept under the rug does not mask the fact that grave damage has been done to the credibility of ForexFactory as a result of this scam.

Still haven't written my reflections about the whole thing... would take some concentration and availability of mind which I seldom have had recently!

Some practical information though:

As I'm not a US citizen and was not directly the victime of the scam (I payed for training and read his blog and received his SMSes during the due period so nothing to directly complain about - I almost invested in his fund though, which remains a scaring thought to me), so I won't contact the FBI.

But I strongly recommend that those who have been robbed do so. It may be easier to track Jacko down that one may think, provided the proper means are involved (such as subponea to have access to all logs and IPs, tracking the route of the money via bank logs, etc. Maybe even use his phone number to know in which cellular cells he was at the time).

Another interesting piece of information which I almost bumped into by chance a few weeks ago is this one (not a new one though):

That was very early warning!!! So this Mr Chan must have had some connection with Jacko (could be Jacko himself if the idea that he has multiple personality disorder is true :-) ).
Tracking this Mr Chan down could help too.

This guy is catchable. Those of you who were scammed need to contact the FBI or the equivalent authority in your own country, if not Interpol. There is a trail leading back to him. But you must be vigilant about keeping the authorities on the case. As time passes it will become more difficult to find him.

I can not understand why anybody would send guys like Jacko - they have never met- "big money in an envelope"?

But these scams seem to work, and thats why they should stop these guys!

Outstanding post & I agree 100%. Now that Jacko has been exposed for what he really is noboby @ FF wants to take responsibility & is taking the bury their head in the sand approach. That being said at the end of the day we are all still responsible for our own actions.

One approach to finding the Jacko would be for those that have been ripped to hire a private investigator with experience in tracking people in different countires outside of the U.S. Just a thought, but it might work.

I sincerely wish for a positive conculsion for those that lost their funds.

Not knowing what your "offer" is, I can't really say much. I distrust all vendors and have no experience as a vendor myself. Most of them are shady if not outright corrupt, and even the good ones are often corrupted after a time.

Business ethics is pretty goddamn simple. Do right by your customers and treat them as you yourself would want to be treated. Communicate clearly what you offer and don't ever charge for services that you think you're going to have trouble providing. Don't promise ANYTHING in the way of returns or successful signals. And don't fuck people over. Those are the "expert" maxims I offer.

Couldn't agree more. Do look at our thread in this forum. It's called FOREX Marker Reversal Levels. Price is clear and no impossible claims. Kosher enough for you?

You can only buy or sell, win or lose and prices can only go up or down.

Trading FOREX is a zero-sum game which means for every winner there’s a loser with the odds stacked slightly in favour of the traders who get the tightest spreads.

We believe that the market is manipulated by the big boys who do see into the future as they create a lot of it.

They understand us and know how to entice us with inviting opportunities that go wrong.

They know we expect the market to behave naturally. We expect trends to keep going one way until the tension pulls them back, slowly as a retrace, or fast as a trend reversal and we get surprised when they do the opposite of what we expect. Well, we shouldn’t be.

There's no way of knowing future price action unless you make it happen yourself. And you have to be a big boy to do that.

Successful trading is about winning more than you lose. The key seems to be to cut your losses quickly and not to go for big profit targets.

Or have we got something wrong?

True, but retail traders are speculators (for the most part some are gamblers) and that is where it becomes a zero sum game.
