I would not do much but wait for a sell signal again as mentioned in my trading plan.

But if there is a reversal sign, i may long and take a quick profit @ 50% or 61.8% fibo.

Here's a little tweaking using ichi360 monitor v4 as to vic's screenshot earlier on. I got to say ichi360's indicator is very useful and i thank him for it.

Could I get a little feedback on The gu trade on 5 and 15 min shown in charts below. Its been a long while since on this thread and I feel drawn back to it now that I have settled in on another aspect of my trading, would really like to add this to my toolkit.

My take is :
1 & 4hr direction confirmed, ( there is the resistance on daily, but trying to limit upper tf to 1 & 4)

15min signaled 1st but needed to to pull back to t/k's before an entry. this giving good reason to wait for the 5min.

5 min has cross and a recent resume below t/k lines. However cross was not a text book strong ( ie below kumo )

Stop and take profit seem good <30 and > 30.

target for that gu trade I was placing is 1.5900 area, the 61.8 retrace of the daily swing up move.

tp hit for gain of 80. I would just like to make sure this win isn't reinforcing a bad habit, rewarding an improper setup.

Ichimoku tells us, that the Dollar is gaining strength over all pairs... furthermore there is an temporally anti-correlation between Greenback and S&P...

2 winners , i finished london session went out for lunch with friends and then back home

yes we forgot that we are intraday traders and more over we trade based on technical analysis , this means that whenever there are news our analysis will not be accurate , so we better stay aside during the news , i pref to stay aside 30 mins before the news and 1hr to 2hrs after the news

3-Entry ( Entry signal, TP, SL )

Now we have our three golden rules
what we will need to do is make sure to mention the news in our sheet
sheet !!! what sheet vic ??!!!!!

Ok you lazy traders i have made you a file where you can update the direction of the pairs.

i don't trade CAD and NZD pairs , so you are not gonna find them in my sheet


and now we have the sheet then we have another rule to be added to our list , which is updating the sheet every Hour as long as we are trading

so our rules will be the following

1- check the direction of the 1hr and 4hrs ( Trend is your friend )
2-Check the news
3-Entry ( Entry signal, TP, SL )
4-Update the sheet every Hr.


Vic u kiddin me , u wanna me update the sheet every Hr
YES AND IF YOU ARE NOT GONNA TAKE THIS JOB SERIOUSLY THEN I'LL BE THE FIRST ONE LAUGHING AT YOU WHEN U COME HERE CRYING AND BLAMING THE MARKET OR ME OR ICHI OR ANY ONE THAT YOU ARE LOSING YOUR MONEY

P.S there is a droop menu in the sheet for the signal , u will not need to write anything .

once the sheet (direction off the pairs) is filled, when do we start to buy or sell and second how do we filter the strong pairs from the weaker ? Thx

which currency is the strongest and which is the weakest ??!!!!!!

If you look at the screenshot again, the blue arrow appears with the dollar index as the base currency and the red arrow appears with the dollar as counter currency.

This shows that the dollar index was strengthen or we can look at the dollar index chart.

i follow the kumo breakout and the Ts ks strong cross on the 15 mins, this is my entry signal, i dont use the 5mins cause i was not i feel more comfortable with the 15 mins but you don't need to follow my signal u may choose whatever signal u r comfort with m u may even change ichimoku and use the SMAs or MACD or whatever , as long as you follow the trend things will be ok

now we need to find a way so our sheet can tells us which currency is strong and which is weak !!!!
