Celebrating the first trade

Well, after quite a while of reading and learning as much as I can, I opened up a mini account and made my first trade today - and a profitable one at that! I made 1% of my accounts value on the first trade. It isnt much, but hey! Its a start!

Ive been using demo accounts regularly for the past 6 months, the past 4 months with the THV system. This was the first real money trade I have made.

Problem is I'm already $20 behind after the withdrawl fee from the broker

You're going to make that up, just be confident.
Once you get your money back - that is the money you put in plus
taxes and fees, you'll feel much better

Well done mate. The fact that you have done some reading and learning before starting to trade with a small account puts you a fair way ahead of pack already! Now go and lock yourself away from a couple of years and develop your own robust method - don't share it with anyone, and stay away from the forums and only return if and when you are ready to contribute some of your learning for the greater good.

Great job dont be foolish. I placed my first 10 trades perfectly grew a $250 account to $475 in 2 days. The following day I blew it all. Now on second account had some screwups Now I have stopped bleeding because it all boiled down to money management and patience on waiting for your entries. I would force trades if there were no available setups. Not anymore. Also macro price study it, you can get in long ass trades this way.

I just started trading the beginning of this month. My first trade was tough! I started off with some mini lots to build my confidence. I'm doing a lot better but I'm learning more trading live when I was trading on demo

Thanks everyone.

I've noticed a huge difference between trading live (I'm trading mini lots, 0.01 - 0.03 lots at a time) and can honestly say its a different world when there is risk involved. Trading a demo account where a win or a loss doesnt mean anything and trading a live account where a $450 account can drop to $200 in a matter of only a few bad trades is like night and day.

Demo accounts = education
Live accounts = Stress and lots of it!

Screw it, triple up on the next trade. You're on a roll so ride it.
