looks like a higher low signal on MACD 4hour on EU at the close of the 12 o'clock candle (gmt+1). entered Long at the close. wish me luck.

Agree with you. I barely looking @ indicators. Most of my trade based on the PA & the rhythm.

I long USDCHF yesterday 0.98177 and after an hour later, it started to rise about 40 pips and I quickly set to break even to allow it to run further. However, immediately after I set to be, the price started to fall and triggered my stop loss within the next hour and move up from there.

Later, I shorted EURUSD at 136436 & after about another hour, it started to fall about 30 pips and I quickly set to break even. However, immediately after I set to be, the price started to rise and triggered my stop loss within the next 30 minutes and move down from there.

My question is, did I set the price to be too early with 30 - 40 pips?

Yes, with the current volatility I think it is better to give it a bit of space. When it is trending so much, I think it is also volatile. When it is in a range it is not so volatile.

GU is held back by the trendline but it could be ready to break through - or it could just bounce off it and go back up.

Hi Silverfox,
I lately give my trades quite some room to breathe. I use atr21*2 to determine r and at 1r I set a trade be. these days 1r is above 100 pips.
at 2r I take 2/3 profit or so and let the rest run with even more breathing space, 2r.

Thanks Xeneric and ashes for your input. Guess I will need to give "them" some more room to breath so as to get a bigger rewards!

I just shorted AUDUSD at 0.98335 with 1/2 target profit at 50 pips and the other 1/2 open. Let's see how it is going to be play out

Above position got stopped out. Enter new position when price move away from EMA21 at 0.98496 in H1. Let's see how it is going to be play out.....
