EurUsd is surely in an up trend, looking for it to break the uptrend at 1.3650 area.

gbpusd and eurusd were marketrhythm trades

Thanks for the "heads up" Silverfox. I normally don't trade during NFP week but I couldn't resist the temptation especially after the RBA lifted interest rates suddenly and it resulted in a nice TC. The technicals confirm the fundamentals. That's what I like. The signal candle was a very big beltholding candle so I had to use a 107 pip SL and placed it at the bottom of the candle. I was lucky that I was not stopped out by the large FOMC hammer. Currently at 168 pips but will close before NFP.

the indicator is double cci, I've set it to 89, 34. it shows graphically how the price moves around 89 and 34 sma.

Could you explain - I do not quite understand how the indicator shows the moves around the moving averages.

One of the FF members implemented an EA largely based on this system.

I did minor change and tested it.
It is pretty impressive for EA's seen so far.

Test result and EA are in the following link.

hmm is 7% a year alot? I have a simple strategy that yield 21R in 7 months on EU. trying to have someone code it though.

We are talking about 10-year period (simulated) track record of 7%/yr reward. Plus it is pretty hard for EA to avoid bad trading obvious to human eyes. But this EA provides good risk management.

Actually if your claim (21% reward) is true and consistent, you should try becoming a professional trader for the big fishes, they have obvious reason to hire a prodigy like you.

Yuan, you will have to show us your results in order to convince us. You cannot make a claim like that without following through.

firstly i want to say i m not trying to say my system is good. just wonder if 7% is really a lot, as there are claims of people making 10% a month which i dun think is impossible, depend on ur R though

and anyway i can attach e manual excel testing. but i only did it for a pair, the system has to be applied to different pairs as u dunno which pairs are trending

nice short setup on usdchf 10:00gmt candle close, according to Philip's rules (red arrow)
when price goes through 200sma it tends to come back to it an then bounce off and continue its direction
I've added another position to my persisting usdchf short already yesterday (yellow arrow).
at the end of the week I'll post the link to my trading summary.

Hi everyone I have been reading this forum for over 2 weeks and I just managed tofinish it! I have also entered the same trade today @ 0.96780 and got a s/l @ 0.96540. I hope I am right!!

market seems to get a bit out of rhythm on the traded pairs
here's a summary of the last two trading days:

the only pair that shows some rhythm is eurusd, entry at 18:00gmt candle close, but I think I'll pass, since price is inbetween 200 and 89 and since the overall market situation is unclear

Well, it's been a while since my last post in here. And I'm going to retrain myself again since I am a bit settle down in my personal life atm.
