Hi Arunsideas, I just read you do free Tradestation coding? I am dying to get 3 Indy's for Tradestation, on which I trade Futures (Currencies):
1. Nanningbob's Indy - basically the TMA & Sixth Indicator. I attached a Tmplate for you to see.
2. Murray Maths (see attached)
3. Fibonacci Indy (Daily, Weekly, Monthly)

If you can help, or luckily for me already have them coded I would be soooo grateful my Friend!

I have finished my first week trading on a live account using THV4 / SAH / Cavemanger 1.41. Checkout my journal, I have finished my trading for the week and posted my results.

Great system. I started lurking this thread from the very beginning. I read pretty much every single post until page 1200. I would strongly recommend everyone who is starting with forex to do the same and follow all the advices and practice practice practice.

You need to:
1) click on your name up top of page
2) click user options
3) adjust posts per page to 40

This will reduce number of page to 534

Hi all, yesterday I did some reading up on the EUR/USD, I want to be able to ride the savage beast. I then did some reading about the ATR.

I got my first real loss on the Euro yesterday, thats what inspired me to do some more reading. After that I did 10 more trades all based on the EUR/USD but I used the ATR, fast trix and cavemanager EA only. All 10 were profitable.

I am a new trader so maybe it was just beginners luck. I will put down here what I did and could I please get feedback if this is a good way to trade.

I closed all trading windows all I had was the EUR/USD open. I stripped everything from my chart and just loaded what I needed. I didn't want any lag, I wanted to see every second.

I set cavemanger EA with an advanced trailing stop activated at 1 pip with a 90% trailing stop, Capital protection was activated at 5 pips and would close trade if it fell back to 4 pips. No TP was set, a SL of 5 pips set (it was never hit in those last 10 trades). TP was done manually when fast trix changed color (most of the time the EA closed the trade on Capital protection or trailing stop).

My bro.ker was giving a spead of 1-1.5 pips on the Euro.
The ATR was anywhere from 15 - 25
The fast trix was going from the bottom to the top, top to bottom, some of the time.

When the fast trix did a color change I would then keep riding it in the direction of that color. This method seemed to work, but maybe it was newbie luck.

If people are trading like this could you please point me to the thread, because I would like to do more reasearch on this.

Sideways market makes loss always...

Ok how can be identify the sideways market in real time ....?

Using Strength Indicator can identify the sideways market....

In this weekend I found one interesting indicator ... Too many indicators available to show strength ... But I feel this indicator little comfort .....

I am trading only EURUSD ... Some traders think that if we trade single pair, no need to check Strength Indicator.... But use it for filter sideways entries ....
