Hey Mission

I have to do some digging for the 4th one until I find it I'll just use the 3. I'll post if I get it, I am sure someone else will jump in too, I don't have too many mt4s since I got my new computers

On the 15m E-C a small PB, but at A+ position: BRN @ 13500, 62% fib, down-TL. Currently looking for the low of the weekly BEOB to act as resistance. Without the James stuff I've learned here, I wouldn't be able to notice and trade such a setup, thanx again James for all the wonderfull learning material you've provided us with.

May the force be with you.

Well price respected the low of the weekly BEOB as resistance via a BEOB, here also confluence via 50% fib and a steeper down-TL. My final target for this daytrade is of course the RNB @ 13400, if price gets there, it has moved about 125 pips today which is roughly equal to its ADR at the moment.

Applied the same "trick" to the kiwi, entered on a BEOB. Price is having another shot at the intrady low @ 7850.

What a bummer missed this beautifull setup, price made a double bottom and pulled back right into previous support, now resistance, PA via a beautifull PB. Lets see if price breaks that double bottom.

Price has hit the 7850 a few pips below intraday low, closed my position for a 33 pip profit. Price has moved more than 80 pip today which is equal to its ADR at the moment, so I don't think there's much juice left in this pair for some more additional pips.

Ozzie is about to break out of a 4H-range, price is making lower highs and lower lows on the 1H-TF. Price could revisit parity and test parity as support now.

Closed my position a few pips above RNB @ 13400, I'll expect support at this level also on the E-C an ADR has been done so there isn't much steam left for some more additional pips, two reasons why I close my position for a 89 pip profit

Since I joined the James thread in august my trading has improved greatly, finally all the pieces are falling together. The James thread provided me the glue for all the tools (fibs, trendlines, bar patterns etc..) I've learned sofar. The uniqueness of this thread is that it teaches you to use all these available tools in conjuction with each other and not as a standalone tool, this in order to pick the trades with the highest probability of succes. The more reasons (confluence) traders have to buy or sell into an area, the more likely they are to do it. Also the notion of FTA and managing the trade when price gets there has improved my profitability of my trades. The last time a trade when negative was quite a long time ago. I want to pay my gratitude to all the senior members and everyone else who contributed to this thread for all the education they provided me with. One day I'll hope to meet some of you guys and buy you a beer (Heineken)

May the force be with you.

This is from James he told me to pass on.

He is very thankful for all the wishes but 50 is a tough number for him so he said "well tell everyone when I'm done crying I will be back. In a day or two."

I told him beer and cake only and 50 isn't that old!

Is anyone short the EURGBP off the BEOB from 2 weeks ago?

I am in. I considered playing this like Jarroo, small stop loss, and a quick target profit and look for it to run.

So far, if I had played this like Jarroo, I would be at BE. I probably would have taken profit right above the .8600 round number at .8630 or .8625.

Instead, my stop is hidden above .8800 at .8825 and my 1st TP is .8530. At this point I will take enough off the table I make money regardless and my final TP is at .8230.

Just thought it might be interesting to discuss the different strategies to this long term trade, and how everyone played it.

Hi Guys,

i am here due to the not actually hearing one bad thing about this thread and James only peoples praises.

Now my question is where do i start?

I'm aware of the seperate website James runs but how does that run in conjunction with this thread?

Regards

Rump.

Welcome Rump

Start with post 1, there are a lot of links and good stuff that James stuck to that post. Then just start slowly making your way through asking questions as you go. I know it seems crazy tedious but after a few hundred pages you will have a much firmer grasp and there is a lot of noise that you can skip. Read all of James posts as you go of course, and you will soon not feel so overwhelmed by this huge thread.

Be sure to ask questions as you go
Mike
