I figured I'd start posting some of my trades as this thread seems to be slowing down. I took this trade a couple of hours ago. I typically go for 10-15 pips per trade with a 15 pip sl.

Posts are always welcome.... like the MTF HA indi. Just a quick note.. when posting... say what prompted the trade as it will help other traders... example...ALL Trix Red, M1 Trix cross, all under EMA etc etc...

hi all... pls comment on my trade if it is a 'good' one perhaps... all trix red and adx is -DI is up with strength... is this the thv method in play? kindly advise.. tq~

edit: thanks pumlit, much appreciated... i exit with some +pips im lucky the news favoured usd... other times mebe not so lucky.. hmm..

edit2: Tread - thanks for ur input.. goin against the coral is wrong! i will keep that in mind.. i think that the trend is goin down now is cos of the news perhaps.. alright i will take good note of ur other points.. thanks alot.. btw, i jus got a sell signal from EU...

USD high impact news release in a few minutes. Not good time to start any trade now. (If you don't trade the news.)
And tehcnically I would not take this trade as it is counter-trend (m5, m15).

Aside from Pumlitch comments which are totally right, the news can crucify you. If this trade was being setup in when no news were present you want to look at:

1.) A price channel is existing between 1.40530 and 1.40470, so you want to wait for decisive break out of this channel.

2.) Also, look at how many time the price is breaking the coral in a short space of time, it is showing inconsistency on the trend at that timeframe, you want the price to break the coral and remain on the correct side and show indication of continuing (price expanding away from the coral)

3.) The coral is also green and heading up, which indicates a long trend, so going short against the coral is not a good idea.

4.) Also regarding the Trix notice how the history show small high and lows? This indicates weak momentum, which mean that should you enter, it may not necessarily sustain the entry.


My advice is to scroll some of the charts, look at the the areas that gave nice trends and observe how the indicators behaved at that point.

Remember, do not try to catch the beginning of the trend as this can be disastrous, with this setup, you want to get in after the trend has established and then take profit of it. So wait till the trend is established.

Hi all I have set-up a trading journal of my exp using THV4,SAH and Cavemanager 1.41 on a live account, check it out if your interested.
Its for all newbies like me who need simple entry rules because I so don't understand all this technical stuff. You also have the cavemanager EA to make all the hard decisions for you. Its a noobs dream.

Look like a very good Trading system for daytrading. But I like to write at longer time frame (1 hour, 4 hour). Using 1 minutes chart to trade forex is too hard for me especially i am a beginner. However, I really love this system and I will use this system to trade forex.

hi guys!

i just exit in this trade, 1M fast trix cros slow, 5M trix fast cros slow and 0, below emas, below res, and SAH in red.
is this a good entry or should i need to wate for retrasement and sell a top?

Went long on the 5 min fast trix, fast and slow 15 min trix, 5 min adx, 15 min HA, and 5 and 15 min cloud. Good for plus 12 with a draw down of 2 pips. I also must have a 'spine' on the rainbow, and expanding fib moving averages provide by tread.

Hey Cobra, thanks for this system. I've downloaded the V3 and V4, and also the manual, but the manual seems to be more for the V3 and not much is said for the V4. Sorry, I can't go through the whole thread to see what to do, so please tell me how to use the V4. I don't know where your blog is. Thanks!

V3 and V4 manuals are the same.
You will have to read at least the last 200-300 pages of this thread.

Hi everyone!

Right now I am using "Pivot point Multitimeframeb" and "THV 4 TzPivotsD (Black)" to show me support lines and resistance.

Unfortunately alot of setups occur when PA is near some of these lines which of course prevents me from trading.
But often enough these trades just ignore my lines and so would have been a perfect trade according to the rules.

My question is, if somebody got some advises or personal experience using such indicators.

Friend Personally I wont use pivot lines ....

I have the same problem. Sometimes the price bounces off known S/R lines,
sometimes it simply goes through it without any problems.

I think it is not a problem. It is just how it is. Trading is not easy.
I trade what I see and pay attention on SR, Pivot, Trend Lines etc., because something may happen there. It never works exactly. That is why each trader needs to have good money managment.
