EUR/USD 5min - Trendlines and Pivots

Still in this as MR2 is providing support but the price action is dreadful, I hate trading at this time of the day.

Nice little breakout, this could turn out to be a profitable day after all, will hold until 65.

Stopped out break even earlier. -12 for today. Very disappointing to have a losing day, even though I had 40+ pips on the table earlier this morning and didn't take profit, and about 30 on the table this evening. Poor discipline, and I have to address that this week.

Took a long from the open and lower trend line.

Will target yesterdays high.

Touched MR1 now so stop at break even.

Out break even.

Now I have a break of the channel so will take a short if it doesn't pull away too much.

Now short with my stop behind MR1.

Out break even... may well drop without me.

Must be careful with further shorts at the moment, this is a potential long set up. Also now some divergence backing up a long if/when it breaks out.

Notice also the pullback was the 38.2 retrace of this mornings rally.

EDIT : Broken through now so 'should' make it to 55. If it breaks that then 1.41 is next but we will need ADP to take us there and I don't plan on being around then.

Having a tough time breaking through 44.

+19, will have to leave it there today. Hopefully it is obvious why I took that trade with the continuation pattern triggered by the break of the upper trend line, trailed the stop at the first sign of resistance at 44, then targeted yesterdays high.

Currently on +24 for the week even after yesterday's madness, so two more days to reach my target of +50.

Every week I hit +50 or above I increase my stakes slightly, I am currently risking around 1% of my account per trade with a stop loss of 12, which equals 4.16% a week if I hit my target. Eventually I want to risk 3% - probably some time next year.

Odds are continuation downwards, no more trades for me though, it is just fun to draw lines
