I know there is going to be and see there is a lot of speculation as to what happened. My issue is not of a commercial nature, I am a self directed intraday individual retail Forex trader. Unfortunately, I can not comment (as a lot of PM’s have come my way) on what happened it’s now in the hands of legal professionals.

Additionally, I have no business association with MOBForex but they were my IA who look to be having their own problems with Dukascopy.

Trade to trade well and take those rose colored glasses off.

I am one of those, whom CMS kicked out, and i almost decided for Dukascopy. And now i have doubts. I have read the whole thread, and you, John D, were a loyal follower of Dukascopy. Obviously, something bad happened between you and them, but if you don't want tell us your issue or maybe you can't, why did you mentioned it? You shouldn't have mentioned it at all, till your problem is resolved. All you have done is sow doubts. I understand, you are trying to warn us, but warn about what? "Just don't go with Dukascopy" - isn't a good answer.

First off I was not a “loyal follower.” I did not drink the “Dukascopy Kool-Aid” so to speak. I used Dukascopy as my access to the foreign currency market for over five years and never encountered a major problem until now. Sure there had been small order/platform errors over the years but a call to them resolved the error in my favor each time because I documented everything.

You could be right and I wrong for mentioning anything but I could not live with myself if I didn’t.

Do you have any idea how much a brokerage makes? Have you personally visited Dukascopy? I’m guessing no on both counts. Does it rally matter? No. But it did to me. Any business has a right to turn a profit or they wouldn’t be in business but how they do it is another story.

I not trying to turn this tread into a Dukas bashing thread but I’ve struggled in my trading career at the very beginning and over those years learned that there will be negative trades but I’ve also learned that some of those negative trades I encountered where not pure price action.

John, sue dukascopy and make them bleed....we need to tell the whole world what these brokers are up to and make them wake up..............

In other words, Dukas probably occasionally manipulates the spreads and is a market maker.

Question is, how many pips of manipulation are we talking about here and how often?

In their fine print it does state under conflict of interest I think, that they can on occasion take the other side, so I was thinking that as long as it does not happen too often, then I guess we all have to live with it as part of trading. At least that is how I thought it was with Forex in general.

Of course, expose thieves that do the shitty things to the regular Joe

We all know this is a public forum and broker bashing is a pastime, mostly broker to broker

But John, if your post is a legit complaint post what they did, from what I read from you, you were happy with them until "one" major problem? must have been bad....

It would be good to know more about what's going on.

Obviously there's a problem with MOB.

My IA is Molecule6 and so far there's been no problem.

One thing I noticed, when visiting the MOB Forex site they seem to have pulled down all their pages except for the Dukas warning page. This seems a bit strange.

Until we have more information, it's difficult to say whether this is a broker issue or the IA.

Can you elaborate a little whats going on? You seem to have been happy with them for a while. Would it affect your legal proceedings if you did? Can you at least say what its to do with ie SL hunting, requotes etc

I am happy with them so far except for that trade of mine a few posts back. I think they were unethical there.

I am happy with Dukascopy. I trade through dukasсopy two years. With a short break until they received a banking license.

I don't think anyone owes anyone else anything in this forum. If they want to divulge specifics, that is up to them. Each has to make his/her own decisions on brokers as not everyone's experience is the same..

Obviously it would help if you could elaborate, if only a little, on what exactly happened between you and Dukas, but if you can't, so be it. Have you already thought about where to open a new account?

Obviously he just wants to get the kind of reaction that he IS getting. So far from the information on hand points to him having some kind of financial relationship to the IB that was affected. Lesson to learn from all this? DONT USE AN IB !!!! duh
