I find the USD/CAD directionless at the moment. It is just consolidating/consolidating. The most viable, high risk to trade it at that spot is by going to h1(of the chart below) and looking for a 1,2,3 formation within the yellow band. then enter long.

in my humble opinion.

got a nice trade again with gbp/usd h4.

Trendline got broken to the upside again and bounced off in direction of the longer term trend.

yes, I did take this trade.
Well, I don't only trade hector-style. Actually I have a few different methods. And this method here with just entering at a diagonal S/R level can be done at any time of the day.

But for hector trades it's better to enter during london.

It is actually interesting how situations like this can be analyzed.
According to what Mortician showed us, it might actually look like a sell signal as price entered area of broken trend line. On the other hand those green candles and quick rise looks like a flag pole which is a signal to wait for the top of the pole break out.

EU is also showing flag pole... it is along the trend, so, we have higher probability of at least one more up swing.

when the 200 ema is blue - change it to pink and it will support price more
