Both. Canny be one without the other.

If China stops buying all those expensive commodities, who will? The message is clear, they want to slow down credit, which should slow down economy.

Now it's up to mkts to decide how they factor this in.

Maybe just profit taking? See if it is supported on the worker 20ema. There was a doji on last weeks Boss looking like a slow down in momentum but the trend is firmly up.

Until there are buyers above 82, this pair will continue to "float"

I agree with you, because I have experienced trading wishes and hopes.

I have been trading live for the last 2 years but I have given this up lately.
After two years of painful trading I’m at breakeven point that is a good news for me. Perhaps I was really lucky not to lose all my money but I have managed to keep myself on the surface. But damn it! after all these years of learning I want something more!!!
I must have been doing something wrong way through all this time. My method (or I should say: methods) is a chaotic crap, I have to admit it finally. I have decided to stand aside, look what I were doing from wider perpective and get back to learning again. So, I leave behind all the indicators, fancy methods and I will stick only to Price Action at support and resistance. Looking forward to learn plain, classical technical analisys

I give myself a year with your methodology, if I don't start to become profitable I will quit and admit that I'm not suitable person to trade Forex, equites etc

Anyway, I was doing once again exercise with placing SR lines on Audjpy and it looks really beautiful, very symmetrical (Have I done it properly?)

Cheers,
Chris

No thank you, would need to see a strong close below that 9538 low before I would even consider a short.

Yes, each and every time.

Wanted to share my experience with semafor and my strategy to get you r views and suggestions if any.
3levelzz semafor is what I trade with on 1hr TF.

I wait for the big 3 to appear
then wait for any of the next candle to close above the big3 candles's high (below its low in case of short).

Now Target is the closest pivot or support or resistance line which is created through a pivot indicator (on a daily basis). Take small or reasonable profit and wait for next signal. I do not go for home runs.

Stop is 10pips above high of big 3 candle in case long or 10pips below the low of it.

Simple and it works over 80% of the time.

I use it on pairs with USD and JPY only.

But you were happy making money (or so you said) with your Basket 14 EA System, why change?

Hi
I just yesterday came accross this page and liked the Big3 concept. I used it immediately and started making money. I look for big3 and then a candle to close above high of that big3 candle to enter. I use 3 mini lots. Stop loss is 10 pips above or below (short or long) the big3 candle and target is for 1st pivot point, for 2nd S1 or R1, for 3rd S2 or R2. Breakeven the other 2 lots when first target is met. This is working like magic for now. Will post more results in coming days.

I hope this thread is not dead and revives to learn more.

Since you have only used this for one day, I will hazard a guess that you have yet to find out that Semafor RE - PAINTS!

Yes, it looks fantastic in history as all repainting indicators do but wait to go short and then watch your magic Semafor print another "3", but this time, higher!

I did experience a repaint but with my strategy (mentioned in detail) I think the probability of being wrong will be low.

I am still with basket 14 but wanted some trades on a daily basis. basket14 one has to wait for proper line ups and most times it happens when I am sleeping. So both so far working fine and this one yes started 2-3 days back but has been working with high probability success rate due to the strategy and not just blindly long or short as soon as a 3 appears. This one also requires patience.

Also to mention that my stop strategy also limits losses. My repaint experience lost me around $90 but just following strategy religiously i made around $60 on same pair later on in the day. Also, not all pairs or trades go wrong every time. So far made money.
