it's possibly impossible to do that.

the indicator is a price indicator. so its display is contingent upon the current price(& the settings u used).
so if u have your chart showing your current price (example, H1 chart, eurusd, with current price around 1.4000), then u decide to scroll back towards 1.1800 area, the indicator wont show up (UNLESS u have set your indicator to display MANY round numbers above & below the current price; setting it this way may use up more PC resource)
i think most/all indicators are coded this way.

depending on your intent, instead of scrolling back, 3 alternatives:
-just minimize the chart,
-adjust the chart's chart shift feature OR
-extend the round number lines (by adjusting the shift line parameter) so that the indicator will still show up. (the disadvantage is 'chart clutter' which defeats the primary purpose of this indicator.)

im not a programmer but i hope that makes sense.

The thing is, the regular version of SWG does display in the grid, if we can get it to display in the grid instead of the chart, it may work.

To be honest, I am not sure why I was messing around with it in the first place, the regular one is fine once we get used to not seeing it till we look for it.

This function should be built into MT5.....I mean, it needs to be inbuilt.

Yeah, I remembered Jim showing us that around a BRN a while ago in live chat.

Took Half off early, I am not going to let this come back on me for the sake of 5 pips.

Moved SL to 1.59482, it is a safe trade now.

No, you sort of came into it near the end, I remember you saying, "Jim on 5 min charts"!


Took half off and moved the SL. It is a freebie now.

I just want to see if the BRN can hold.


If I get stopped out as I am not at BE yet, I will lose 35 pips but, I took half off already for 50 pips profit.

Was that not a risky trade with the close being below both the 23.6 fibo and the 1.6000 BRN?

Looks like the TL was what supported it but we are now close to the 38.2.

It is a good one to learn from though. Thanks for sharing it.

EDIT: The 150 EMA is right above the 38.2.

Wow I have to agree with you that it was risky.
I think I should have waited for the BRN to be broken before I took it.
It is the huge space the PB had that attracted my attention.

Watching this Hourly IB on that GU breakout trade.

No sweat though.

M30 seems to show an interesting story, 2 bars to get down to the support but only 1 bar to get back up. This tends to lean me towards this going to rally further.

There is no risk in this trade right now as I took half off and moved the SL closer to my entry. I agree though, this is not the time to get into this trade but, staying in it at BE and just moving the SL accordingly is interesting.


EDIT: Don't like the look of this M30 double top but, we shall see how it plays out.

Let's see if this confluence works out with the 10 EMA, the lower support level and the 38.2 fibo.

I am just trying to get into the guts of it on M30.
