Go to the template menu and load one of the THV templates. This will automatically load the required indicators (provided you ran the v4 installer)

The ichimoku is a standard indicator to mt4 (go under the indicator look for Ichimoku Kinko Hyo) we use settings 2/3/5 or 2/3/8.

Tread,

My MT4 terminal kept crashing everytime I loaded the MA scan. I thought this is just because it is CPU heavy but then I didnt even load it to a chart and my terminal was really slow. So I took it out of my indicators folders and now my terminal works fine. I have loaded it up on a separate terminal. Is there is problem with it? bug?

Hello Friend...

I have almost finish DB.... Now testing in real time and it ll be post at week end.

Now I plan to create EA based on DB.

For Ea .. I dont want to take all entries and take best one entry at a time. ...

And the same time I want to maintain constant lot size.

Please give me suggestions , guidelines ......

Not as far as i know, i tested it against 5 brokers.

however, when it loads, it will pull data for 22 pairs on 4 time frames, so the pull down will get heavy on bandwidth and resources, once it gets going cpu resources drop but the bandwidth will remain up.

As a test, open up all the charts (1M) let it set for a while before adding the indicator, give mt4 a chance to pull the history.

Basically you need an execution shell with simple money management. Use the IBFX Expert Advisor - MA Crossover (you get it when you load the demo) .

Replace the MA inputs with the DB inputs and you should be good to go. As basic shell with 5 digit support and some basic MM.

However i would suggest that you also use/incorporate FFCAL input to monitor the news.

Now I plan to combine this logic with trix ... I hope it ll increase profit...

Suggestion & Guideline in the sense .... which pair to select and which always expected SL and Take Profit ... because this is important when handling multi pairs based on your experience... and strong support and resistance details...

Ah i get it now ... if you will be handling the trades as a basket ea then i would suggest a strength based meter for determination of the pair selection to trade. It would ensure that you go into the trade with the Strongest Currency vs the Weakest .... search FF for the KG Relative Strength, Handover Relative Strength or FXCorrelator, i am currently integrating the FX in the thv ea, but going in a different direction to you.

Regarding the support and resistance, the only way i can suggest is to use a weighing scheme on resistance points vs momemtum/volatility. This would be very involved.

Actually yes, I have that indi in the tmp and I dond know how to put it out, I try to find it in the indicators list but it hasn't show up, only I dond pay attention on that.

Hi guys,

I am attempting to get my charts to look like yours. It seems that I am challenged in acquiring all the required indi's etc...

Could you please help me identify what I am missing here so I can get started.

these days, are you only taking the trades where the ema's agree on all 3 TF's with the M1 coming out of consolidation hoping for the homerun trades?

you personally, do you take trades when M1 aligns and M5 agrees as you recommended for a quick scalp?

I look at it like this ....

My car is perfectly tuned ready to go (indis lined up), however currently the road has a lot of speed humps (resistance), so i like to wait until a smooth patch before pushing the pedal.

With THV, I take trades where all three ema's are lined up, it may be consolidation or the bounce of the ema's. trix and adx have to agree. Remember the EMA are there primarily to give Trend. The behavior of the ema's are there to aid the trade, consolidation, compression, expansion

I do not take the M1 & M5 as a general rule ....as i said this is for more aggressive entries, I would take this kind of trade but it would be under a specific set of condition

What I have noticed..... profitability is up

for you personally, when you're taking the ema bounce trade (with the ema's agreeing on all 3 tf's), are using 5m and the ema's pointing at 1pm or 5pm with it coming into 13 and 21 like the video you posted suggested?

....or off of the 1m?

...or discretionary?
