After observing Saxon & MarcVUM posting targets for a few weeks & watching as they patiently waited for those targets to be hit I became interested in there actions. I seen the power of targets at certain price levels of important confluence.
Subsequently I watched one of Saxon's short targets that He had posted on the EURUSD and waited for it to be hit before entering. (the result EURUSD tanked 200-250 pips from the target).
These were awesome learning experiences for me. I was encouraged & motivated to learn.
This week I am enjoying another awesome new learning experience with historical price levels as a new thread was started from one of my vouchers stevefx.

When this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're gonna see some serious s***.
The template just needs the green/red rectangles date changed couple of days. So that the price does not go ahead of the rectangles.
Here is mine. I put the date on Oct 11.
Rectangles update procedure:
left click two times on one of the front corners of the rectangle.
two very small squares come up on the two front corners.
right click
rectangle properties comes up
left click on that
then the second box with time, change the date in there
Each rectangle has to be updated like this manually.
It takes me about 1 - 2 mins to do all the ones I can see on the H4.

"Oh it's just a little tactic I use on on big moves like this rate news....the reason I wait for the green candle on M30 (and it has to have occurred after a red candle closed outside of the bollinger bands) is because it usually signals a retrace back to the 50 or 55% Fib. For this instance it actually hurt my shorter-term trade because the green candle occurred and then price continued lower. Oh well. Nothing is perfect but I follow my rules and that is what counts."
By the way it was very helpful when you explained the reason behind why you wait for the 30 min candle to come up. I love learning. thankyou.

Yes that is correct. every one or two days as price catches up to them.

Sorry I think the template has no rectangles above the historical high.
I checked on the EURUSD template on the monthly & AUDUSD.
If the historical high is broken, which is a real possibility, then the template needs recalculated.

I am still holding my shorts and am excited to add more here.
I don't see a clear candle on M15 or M30 to take the trade. The gap is there to make me think it will drop but I've got that gap at 9280 in the back of my head still.... it might now close right away.

I'm with you Marc, still have the gap back at 9280 in mind and have some small longer term positions in play chasing that number. Same with the E/U, open gap down at 1.27 but that seems so far away now...
