What will unzip the latest pivot cal (poat1874)? I have in downloaded but can't unzip it. Thanks Paul

Try 7-Zip for unzipping the file, it's free to download.

Thank you to Bobi and all involved for developing the new calculator, I look forward to testing it next week.

As with version 2, I can't get this new calculator to run. It crashes every time I try to open it. I'm running windows 7, is anyone else having any problems and does anyone have a solution?

Had the same problem with my window XP.
Solution:
Right click on the icon - properties/compatibility/disable visual theme/apply/OK
Don't know about win 7, but maybe u can try this.

I'm using windows 7 too and it crashed the first time. I deleted it then tried again. After unzipping, NORTON antivirus will not let it run and has removed it from my computer. Anyone else having problems with the new calc?

There are no problems with the calculator, you and others are having problems with your pc's how you have your virus software configured etc. Sorry to say but this has nothing to with the calculator or anything else related to this thread.

I had no problems with V1 and V2 (with Windows XP).
But with V3!
Norton Internet Security stops it because it detects some danger (via sonar modus).

I'm using windows7 and the calculator run perfectly. I use 7zip too...try to re-configure your anti virus.

I'm having the same problem. I've got it unzipped and on the desktop but the second I click to open it Norton 360 zaps it from my computer. Any suggestions? Thanks Paul

Wrong kdx. It's a new piece of software central to the application of a confusing system and this is the only thread where problems with it can be addressed.

Thank you to those offering help. I've tried switching off my anti-virus programme and addressing the properties, but it hasn't worked so far. I'll keep trying and if I find a solution I'll post it on here in the hope it helps others.

I have one but you probably won't do it, unless you are serious about trading.

Have a dedicated computer just for trading. On it you only have trading software. Since on your trading computer you never go onto internet websites you don't need virus software. It just slows down the computer anyway, and you want the trading computer running at optimum speed.

Other options:
Go to the virus software management screens and look for the exceptions. You can add software exceptions which the virus software will not block from running. Believe it or not I had to add Yahoo Messenger to the exceptions list to get it to run.

Or right click on the desktop icon and click on run as administrator.

Or right click on the icon and go to properties and there check under the securities tab for the permissions, and see if you need to add any.

Having uninstalled every single security measure I'd added to my system, I discovered it was the firewall which was preventing the programme from running. I had Comodo Firewall installed and it's removal allowed the programme to run without any problem.

In the next version , new features will be added . Some gauges to display the bullishness and bearishness of the market , volatility and Sell presssure will be part of the features . Breakout levels are also optimised .
It will be available up to end of the next week.
