I haven't posted for awhile, but thought of this thread as I saw this PB forming at a nice BRN on the daily. Worth keeping an eye on in my opinion.

I want to share a demotrade which i took today on the G-U, everything I've learned so fare from this excellent thread (and all the senior members, Jarroo, Mike) made it possible for me to manage this trade nearly to perfection. Now for the trade; I saw on the 4H-TF this beautifull big PB off the BRN @ 16000, the only thing I didn't like was that it closed near a daily PPZ @ 15935-ish and of course the RNB @ 15900. In that case I would like to look for a better entrypoint rather than entering straight after the break of the PB (with a small buffer). I was looking to enter on a pullback after the PB. In this way I could position myself before the actual break/validation of the PB, should the break not sustain and stall at the aforementioned FTA's I still could get away with a small profit. Since this is a trade on the 4H-TF, I like to switch to a 15m-TF to look for PA. I got my PA on the 15m-TF via a beautifull PB off a very clear 4H-PPZ @ 15955-ish, triggered short at the break of this 15m-PB, target is the proven daily PPZ @ 15835. Without the knowledge I gained from this thread I would have no clue what so ever how to setup and to manage a trade like this succesfully, 100 times thank you !!!

Like many of you I was keen on some of the closes today but most things fell way short on my feed. The eur/usd closed as a neutral bar. Open and close near middle of the bar with equal length wicks. I did look at this as true selling just indecision personally

once again i could be totally wrong but tomorrow could be a crazy day.

im hearing talk about much worse unemployment numbers than are being projected.

at any other time i would laugh at what im hearing.

these days you cant rule out anything.

just be prepared for the possibilty.

This is also the reason why i didn't even think about to enter in E/U or G/U.
Normally I dont care so much about the fundamentals but this time they are just everywhere, it seems like only a weak $ could save US economy and the us gov. is doing its best to get it.

Again great post. I am learning a lot from this. I must accept, I would have taken Bar 3 ( shows lack of my experience :-( ). I thought it was with the trend and at smaller PPZ ( top of bar 1, resistance became support). And unfortunately since it was with the trend, I would not have moved stop to BE after 30 pips or managed it tightly.

I clearly have to lot to learn about reading price action/bars better ( size of the bar in the context of previous bars)

Please keep sharing your thought process, we learn a lot from these nuggets.

Daily PB short @ 1.5871, I'm too agressive but I have to prove that PB works for me.
Reason:
price opened up below the BRN 1.900 and it is below the daily PPZ swing FIB zone ( between 61.8 and 38.2)
let see we are testing 1.5860.

Hey Pb . . No surprise what happen here at the 1.4025-30.

I had the previous PPZ at 1.4035 but I fined tuned it a bit to better reflect the PPZ level. . .Sup-1.4029; Res-1.4026 . .but then again these are zones.

Tough to knock down a door (PPZ level) after running for 1000+ pips, I would be exhausted too.

Thanks Jarroo, yeah that was some bullish rally on EU.

Any chance you can alleviate a little more on the blue box, hanging in space bars. I am seeing them all over the place after you mentioned them.

They appear to straddle the PPZ, then the next bar often tests the top or bottom of them before showing us some PA.

I guess we look at it differently . .you call it a 4 hour PPZ level . .I call it a Daily PPZ level as seen on the 4 Hour. That's if we're looking at the same level.


Just to continue . .on the Daily, the .8650 is the mid-point of the PPZone. The blue lines represent a Support Level and a Resistance Level. The green area in the zone of the PPZ. (Daily chart) We would like these blue lines closer together.


The 4 Hour opportunity came when a BUOB was present and broke through this zone or level. Returning Price to act as Support at this level or zone.

A retracement entry was there at different levels off the BUOB with protection.

Did you mean "elaborate a little more . . " . . just kidding.

I would say that they are the structure of a PPZ level.

Meaning . . Support level . .Price breaks through . .turns into Resistance . .(and vice versa), are what make up the PPZ level. Be it three bars or 100 bars.

Hey Mr. Smith.

These retracements are good for entries for sure . .but they are also good to observe before the actual break of the PA setup. To me, it shows Price acting correctly . .that's just me to think that way . . lol
