THV system, final edition

Many indcators abound on the internet today.But the truth is that there is no optimum indicator.The excellency of any indicator depends on the wisdom of the trader.I like the way indicators are been used here and I salute the wisdom of the starter of this thread.More power to your elbow.

Good opportunity on the EURCHF there. I was in on that one. Came out just before GBP news came out. Thought it may impact it. It did. Check it now. Completely fell the opposite way.

It seems unless you have open several orders at a time, with pairs such as EURCHF, EURUSD, GBPJPY, EURJPY you may only get the break of one. This is because more often than not the pairs seemingly break at the same time.

Is this right Tread? Are there any other pairs that correlate in such a way.

Yes, some pairs are positively or negatively correlated. Now this is not a permanent position, the correlation changes, use this link:

A general rule of thumb for me:-
If a currency is falling, do not try to trade all the related pairs. you might as well focus on one pair and use the lots on it. The reason, when the reversal comes you will be stretched thin to close

When I have multiple trades open, most of the times they are not connected to each other. So if im i scalping GBPUSD and I see a nice setup on EURUSD, i will not take it.

yeap id agree as its playng hte numbers game on which one breaks.

One pair that breaks will beat 3 losers. Unless all 4 lose then your in trouble But then its down to money management.

I have noticed that the ADX differs for different pairs. How do you handle this? For example, I make entries on EURAUD with just ADX strength and not DI strength as DI even throughout strong trend movements stays for the most part below 20 (I use 20 instead of 25 for entries).

Is this phenomenon something I just have to manually learn for each pair, do particular pairs have particular rules?

I am wondering, where the wav files for the divergence alarms are stored. I checked nearly all of the archived zip files, but didn't find them yet. If anyone knows, would be very helpful, to point out where to find them (C + RBullishDiv.wav, C + RBearishDiv.wav). Thank you

The wav files for divergence are stored in the inputs of the Trix. Just right hand click on your screen go to indicators, click on trix, click edit, go to inputs and scroll down. Divergence wav files are there.

I see you are using ADX 13 at the moment, the book you advised before
(ADXcellence) uses ADX 8 and DM 13.
Any advice?

I find that the 8/13 to be more reliable on higher timeframes M15 and up. using period 13 or period 14 for the ADX for averaged out the ADX, it was a little volatile on the period 8

thanks tread,also i have a 2 other problems with my platform and htv,
the htv doesnt work on my mt4 it says that it expired,and its always silver ,because the mq4 wasnt provided,anychance that anybody knows where to find it at

and for other EAs this alert message comes up when the auto tries to execute order ,it says that the order failed for some reason,and that happened to all the other auto systems,i dont know what to do,greatly appreciate a reply

i have also noticed when the 13 jumps farther away from the 13 whilst the other ema's are uniform, that a retrace will happen. this would work well on a low spread pair. but i am suspicious if this is always the case

so i have 1 more question left,how do i stop the order execution from canceling,instead of executing its says that it failed ,what do i need to change?
