Price spikes all over the place in forex, especially with 5 digit MT4 brokers, there spreads are poor on most pairs, do yourself a favour buy the pull backs in a nice daily trend which is backed by the weekly and don't throw money hand over fist in spread and slippage at brokers.

Is anyone else having problems with the feed from Alpari uk at the moment? Is the server down or something????

I am in West Australia and YES, I too cannot get Alpari-UK to run properly.

I was able to close out two trades tho' which doesn't make much sense. They can open/close orders but not keep data up and running ???

Mystery on mystery ...??

NB. Their demo and live service is faulty

why alpari uk doesnt have customer service chat online?
i am actually wondering that a big company like that doesn't have till now..yet almost all the others have.
anybody has an answer?

Good point, but usually if you email them, they reply very quick, at least in my experience.

Thanks friend for sharing conversation about this point.

One of two things:

1) They are big enough to not to rely on customer service chat (comparing themselves to other minor brokers!!!!)

2) Or they lack the facility to have a chat service (which is in this case not a good point for a big company to be always responsive to their clients)

In both cases it is not OK..!

I tried email service with many brokers including Alpari, it is not fast enough and you have to wait.

But chat service gives you the feeling of safety, security and confidence that somebody is caring about you and at your service to answer you.

I am wondering how they missed it...!!!!!

Is anyone using the new Alpari app from the appstore?? I can't seem to get it to work and believe it may only be in use for russian accounts??? Is this correct?

The app is from Zulatrade and can be found here http://itunes.apple.com/nz/app/alpar...ign-mpt=uo%3D2 . Believe you can only use it if you trade with zulatrade.

Is anyone using Alpari's demo? Have your prices gone a bit haywire today? I mean, for example, the spread for EURUSD is currently 2.4 pips and USDCAD is 4.4 and the spread is not changing at all. All prices have fixed spreads, WTF! The demo on Alpari is normally the price feed from their Pro platform isn't it?

Alpari just took a BIIIIG dump all over my operation. I couldnt connect to my account for 11 minutes, i could connect to two other accounts i have with them, but not the one with 2 open orders. So you should know, if they did it to me, they sure as hell are gonna do it to you when ever they feel like it.

11 minutes is ages to me, often open and close within 3 minutes

If you lost money call them. They are quite reasonable and usually sort it out.
