Peter, was it you that wrote the MA Ribbon script or was it Ian? I am having problems seeing MA's under the coloring even though I checked the little box to keep the "chart on the foreground".
On this chart I am losing sight of the yellow 21ema and blue 8sma. If you know how I can get them back while keeping the coloring I would be grateful!

Trying to get it to look like the second chart.

Hi Marc

I posted the MA ribbon. It was coded by mladen over at Forex TSD.

I do not think if I can get it looking much clearer than on this template.

It may be alright. Please put the template in MT4 broker/templates folder.

I set the MA settings on this votality indicator to the 150ema + 200sma in the

indicators window for an experiment.

I think price looks clear enough (in these charts below) over this ichimoku cloud which is from the standard MT4 ichimoku indi.

All MA ribbons I posted on post 8848.

Sorry with the chart not set to chart on foreground.

The MA look clearer now in this template. I made them a little thicker too.

The template I posted on the last post makes price/candles look clearer.

Not very convinced after today performance on AUD. Too risky to long, too early to short. gonna sit this one out for the time being.

Thur - Aussie Employment numbers
Fir - Non Farm

keeping clear from this sort of volatility for the time being. Got stopped out on the last short.

My View on EU.

Broke UTL and holding well at the moment. Should be seeing some major resistance around 1.3900 level, confluence of 0.618 and near weekly R1.

Possibly testing weekly R2 at 1.4050.

Not seeing any obvious convergence in H4 of any nice PA setup. But getting ready for the short still. Market is crazy. When in doubt don't trade! Don't have the luxury of time to see events unfold so I'll just stay by the sidelines for now.

Nevertheless, I'm give it a try with my pending short @ 1.38750 for a small try.

Sorry I didn't get to you sooner, but one needs to sleep.

No I didn't write the ma ribbon, they're on FF somewhere.

However, re your MAs; the latest MA goes over the first MA, ie the second MA goes over the first MA and the third MA goes over the second and the first MA.

Sooo, remove your MAs but leave the ribbon there and re put the MAs on the chart and the new MAs should come over the ribbon.

The pdf may also be useful.

Now, take a look below for some ribbon fun.

Any thought on this pair.

Bull convergence on the 15min + tirpple bottom.
Double bottom on the weekly + S1 weekly region.

Only thing lacking is a nice PA for more convincing confluence.

Any thoughts?

Feeling a bit reckless on this on this pair, small short for a try.
