why are so many saying this can't this break the historic highs? some are saying this will not reach parity in the short term, what is your reasoning? surely, it can't be based on technicals can it?

Just a heads up, I got an email from broker saying that leverage is to be reduced from 100:1 to a max of 50:1. Not sure if that is just in Australia. But better watch your equity if you are in a bad position. Happening around the 14th of October btw.

We've seen EUR/CHF reach record lows, so agreed - there's no such thing as can't. I read recently brokers are waiting for more long entries somewhere above parity before moving for correction - sorry, I can't remember the article, but it was from a source like business week or something like that.

On the opposite side of the table, one of the reasons it's been continuing to rise recently is the expectation of interest rates rising. If rates don't rise, there might be a temporary backlash from that, sending it short for a little bit.

Anyway, guess we'll have to wait and see what happens. The market chooses it's own path...

This thing is going to hit 9840 area 2008 high zone.
Being short Aussie/USD is like being long USD/CHF. Just not paying.
Flip the two around.

Even a "safe, SAFE" player could say once it crushed 9400 and potential daily bar triple top it will rocket.

Are you still short?

Yeah, my position is still open. It was a bad trade on a trigger-happy, tired day...and it was also bad management and bad follow ups. Now I'm committed to a horrible trade and I'm trying to figure out what to do with it. I'm either looking for a good place to exit my trade or holding on and taking a puff on some hope-ium.

..its open below DP and 956 is on the way n i am not suprice tonight NY open its going to WP 0.952 or even lower ...still holding my short position with BE+1..
