However, what i am confused about, is why those 2 contributors, regardless of my interpretation, have dissapeared?

My decision and mine alone and again it is private and not for public discussion - please respect that.

Hi Dan, just wanted to subscribe, as i've been trying to trade pretty much exactly the same way, although i've been operating in a vacuum!!... Most of my trades get stopped for 50 pips, or B/E. I've yet to see the fabled 1000 pip trade LOL

So much drama on Forex Factory of late. Credibility is hard to find.

Best plan? Gosh - buy some A/J and go for a holiday.

It is good to see you still here. I appreciate your posts and it is quite sad to read posts like this guy. It is like this guy had some angst against the way we do post and learn here. I hope that you stick around for a while still.

Looks like buyers arrived to the party, closed above the 50 on my data. Would like to see a close below 131.70 before even looking back in on it.

Hi Craig,

Yes, the lack of data is a real pain, but I do not know of any remedy.

I have tried downloading more data several times, but the extra data does not come from my own broker and has completely screwed up my charts.

Attached is an example.

I am on demo with IBFX London. If you can tell me how to rectify this problem I would be in your debt.

Regards,

Roger

Hi Roger,

Not sure if you can download anything for your broker to have more data?

I use IBFX for trading and Cyprus based FxPro for charting as they had the most data out of all the demos i have tried and their daily bar closes at NY close.

I appreciate that. There seems to be an awful lot of unsubstantiated attack around FF of late. There have also been more than a few scams of late as well, which obviously muddies the waters even more. Traders should be reminded that it is a nasty business. I would encourage all to analyse carefully, trust themselves and prove to themselves whether techniques work for them. Longtime readers who are dedicated will probably do quite nicely, but only descretionary funds should be used.

Since I am here, I should also note that, while remaining short, traders should have their sights set on the monthly USDCHF chart at these levels to confirm that we remain below support. Times are good for the moment, but I am always looking for signs of a rejection.

Ok thought i might start contributing a bit more again - surprised no one has mentioned this - all timeframes down, my only issue is support close by - but maybe an ATM to 1.6200 and possibly leave a partial position in case it wants to break.

Strat my data is different.
the boss candle of the 12/9 is controling or at least trying to control direction.
support @ 132.15, I would not want to sell into support
the boss failed to make new lows. trend change?

Overall trend is down BUT immediate trend is UP on all three TF's

If you had the 20 and 50 on your charts it would tell you a couple very important things.

1) Price is finding R at the Boss 50.
2) Worker price is above 20 and 50 and starting to show signs of momentum to the north.
3) Boss 20 is also acting as support now.

I personally see the SS as buyers fighting R at the 50 and the approaching R at 1.6450

The only safe way to trade this would be with conformation.

Yes but we all know a SS comes after an upward move right ? We dont short a SS after a downmove.

How can you say overall trend is down but all 3 TF's are up ??

Have to agree with another post my charts are also different.

Based on your chart Strat the BEOB attempted to get below the 20ema but closed on/above the 50ema. Both the 20/50 are near horizontal indicating a slowing in momentum and sideways action. This BEOB did not make a LL. Looking around the BEOB there were three BUOB candles up then a SS at R and subsequently the sellers have driven the price down to the MA's.
I would wait for confirmation of a decent LL but the momentum is flagging and would be neutral at this moment as there may be another move on R?

Lastly I don't think you need the crap you are getting from so called students who have not bothered to read your thread from page 1 but want to form an opinion. If they had bothered to read all of it they would understand your manner of teaching and what you are teaching. Please carry on and just get rid of all the crap and don't waste your valuable time on those W**kers.

I really appreciate what you are doing here and take what you teach very seriously. I have slowly but surely over the past 3/4months studied this thread with the last 100 or so pages to go.

Would be an honour to buy you a beer or two next time you are in London.

Thanks Strat

BOSS double bottom and even slightly HL. WORKER in retrace of BOSS BUOB (BoJ intervention). Poor close on BEOB as sellers failed to push lower. So poor BEOB at poor location. Would prefer a reason to long.

Only my take but I see no immediate bearishness. August BB is up on July BB. Last week's B closed above prior week's B. HHs and HLs on worker. But as an ATM as you say? Depends on your risk.

Hi P,
I think I will wait for PA to go long above 164 as the pair is making HL HH in last two weeks. But it can easly go down to 162 which is just 60 pips away where as your stop is going to be 164, so I don't see it is worth taking the risk and considering GBP strength and MAs on the way.
