I talked to the FxPro staff on phone, and they told me these server problems only occur on their demo accounts. I'm not so sure, as also their home page price feed stopped working - strange..

Has anybody had similar problems with a FxPro Live Account?

Ditto for outages. Also in past there is mislabelling of times of price bars, eg. 5 min bar times not matching real times (off by +/- a minute). Some displacement/labeling problem (not a datafeed lag).

I have run their demo just for MT4 charting (and another broker for redundancy). No data at all for the last 24 hours.

(Correction: sat on the dormant open app for 5-10 mins at login, and then finally the data started to flow after 10mins; nothing to do with rescanning servers, which didn't work).

Are they trying to dissuade North American users from using their feed following the recent CFTC decision?

NB: would never use them as a broker. At Monaco Grand Prix FXPro had their own yacht. Sponsoring an F1 team and two major U.K. soccer teams (very, very expensive) is a huge warning flag. It's customers' money folks. Thinking of classic 1940 book on follies of Wall Street, Where Are the Customers' Yachts? If their FX business is doing so great for their customers, where are their customers' yachts? Prob. aiming at many U.K. users of CFD brokers. A lot of new suckers.

Title is from an apocryphal story about a visitor to New York who admired bankers/brokers' yachts in in harbor. Naively, he then asked where the customers' yachts were. Naturally, there were no customers' yachts. Ditto for FXPro owners living the high life at Monaco Grand Prix, prob. on the basis of MT4 Virtual Dealer Plugin, etc....

What is happening to FXPro? The website has disappeared. Metarader says No connection. They don't let me or everybody else trade in this important session after FOMC. Did anyone try to contact FXpro regarding this situation?

LOL... Calm down.

I was long before FOMC. I was connected and everything worked fine until NY close - Sydney open. That's when I noticed it. This is strange, I've never experienced this kind of situation with them before whereby even the webpage and all is down. Strange.

I suspect they did this on purpose because it happened almost right after FOMC when we see that clear direction. This is when retail traders can make money easier than usual.

The site is back online, but...

It's just appalling to me looking at the fact that their website does not say anything about what has been happening; technical glitch or whatever.

They don't explain the cause of the issue, nor apologize.

Is this what a honest broker does???
