version 52 i get the same issue - opened 3 trades today, closed with 0 profit. very weird.

Well, I guess i'll have to switch to 51. 52 is isn't very optimistic, only trading for breakeven, I want an ea that has a bit more motivation

52 has constant TP amend errors. 51 seems to be OK but not much action..

Is Steves EA based on scoobs filter now?

and if we place to false, does it fully revert back to using RWB?

on V51, I keep also getting order modify failed with error (0) it bleeps a few times then eventually manages to modify. Any idea what is causing this

Same problems here tazmaan, v52 ea is showing constant TP amend errors.

Hi Steve

I have a question regarding the modified EAs with scoobs ATR filter you posted in Bob`s thread. The reason I am posting here is because I do not want to confuse people in the main thread.

As you recall couple of weeks ago when scoobs mentioned this idea he also made a suggestion regarding the REDMACD and I quote:

" I would still keep the Stoch 7 and Stoch 14 rules in place but just remove that StochMACD calculation (Red Line)."

If it is possible could we have this as a user selectable option as well. If it is too much hassle can you tell this idiotic non coder which entry I have to delete in the EAs to conform to the above. The reason I like scoobs idea is because the reason BOB has MACD despite its lagging nature is to balance out the faster STOCH indicators. IMHO with the introduction of scoobs ATR filter MACD becomes redundant. Even before the ATR filter I was not paying too much attention to MACD.

It turns out this is already possible. Simply turn UseStochMacd to false, move it out of the commented out section and recompile,

I will do this permanently later and amend the user guide.

Is anyone having problems taking profit with the EA. It takes profit ok, but its too soon - sometimes just a pip away! I would prefer it to ride the trend for a few more pips before it closes the trade. I am using the bollenger tp selection.

Is there a setting which I maybe overlooking?

pretty sure its a bug that needs to be worked out. just about all of my trades this week using max's ea version 52, set the tp to breakeven soon after opening the trade. it's like if it opens a trade, and it goes against you at all, it sets the be and closes for 0 profit.
I've only had one trade that did NOT do that, and it was gbpchf, and possibly because it never went negative, really dunno.
max needs to look at it, or maybe he's fixed it in v55, will find out.

Did you have an EA #1 trigger on the EUR/CAD today. RWB were above the 85 line and price went through the Bol. Band but no trade was made on my platform.

i'm not acually talking about Max's bot here - i'm talking about steve/simon's.

Anyway, look at us.. a bunch of moaners! These guys all put in a load of hard work with their coding and we sit here moaning like a bunch of old women from the council! Shame.

Would be glad if some suggestions were made to stop the bots from taking profit too early though!

Still no trade so I have no idea what's going on. I closed the platform down and restarted but still no trade. I have Steve and Simons EA set to take #1 and #2 trades only.

Did you reset your EA since yesterday? I had a eur/cad trade from a day or 2 ago that was taken. It was another setup today but the price hadn't moved a minimum of 200 pips (you can set this) yet so no trade was entered for me.

I'm taking an absolute beating right no on alot of the jpy pairs which were entered at the end of last week. Just keeps going against me. Hoping to see recovery kick in soon. I can't imagine what it would feel like on a live account to see 4 weeks of profits wiped out in 4 days.

I have sorted this out, I think.

The StochMacd has a new input, UseStochMacd which should disable the filter if set to false. In conjunction with UseScoobs set to true, this should do as you want. I have not updated the on-screen feedback to reflect these changes, and will address this when I feel like doing so.

In the meantime, if anyone fancies updating the user guide, please feel free to do so.
