Tread thou not there showed. I mean there where a circle on Trix. not where you drew arrows

The arrow show the Dotted Lines. The circle is above it, so the trade would not be taken. This way you can avoid late entries

Tread more question, if possible. If I put the Trix OverBought / Oversold = 2000 then the adviser would buy here?

For Exit you would need to use the second digit on the entry

So for example the FastTrixDirection = 2000 you would use 2200 this would mean exit.

like so Trix OverBought / Oversold = 2200?

i think i found "the settings" of the settings . sl is 20 pips. 15% gain a day (deposit 500 and lot size 0.10). drawdown 7%, but pssssssttttt.... i will backtest later if i come back home from office. set file need a little bit more optimizing. i will test with 99% mod. quality. but it takes so long (i'm doing it in visual mode for optimization). At first for a week, then for a month. and then forward testing.

referring to post 3247

thanks for your continous contributions - much appreciated. Do you know how we can exit the trade if we are in a short position and the fast trix changes from red to green AND is in the oversold area

Tired the:
fasttrixdirection = 2200
trixoverboughtoversold = 2200

when these two exit requirements stated above is 2200 it should be AND and not OR I assume - both conditions should be met (in the oversold area AND fast trix going from red to green)

When I apply the above two settings many times my first exit will be with the exit text: "trix overmarket" eventhough both the fast and slow trix is not in the overbought or oversold area at all

Do we also need to play with "indicatorsexitpriority" and what should the value then be?

ok, to put it in another straight forward way; what does it take to exit like the suggested exit posted in post 3247 (and NOT exit before that specific exit)?

try: fd 2010 and fobos: 0110

but i don't tested it yet my concentration is the best at moment.

The Exit conditions are "OR" based only.

You can use a fast trix change direction to trigger and exit, but this will happen regardless of where it is (inside or outside the OBOS zone). For exiting the extreme I would use the fast trix from the higher TF .

As an example MTFTrixDot7 = 010M15 if I am on the M5 Chart

i change trix hot to 0.7 but i think it use 1.2 instead. if i cancel visual backtest, i see two trix indicators first with 1.2 and second with 0.7. it seems so that the ea is using the first one. all other conditions for entry are meet. and please explain again: 0020 setting for prerequiste. for example slow and fast "muste have" (2020) the same color for entry before trixcross (2000), but it works only with ignored (2010). or must i set fast and slow to 0020? thanks

If I get your message : fobos means FastTrixOverboughtOversold and the settings of 0110 means entry will be ignored for defined obos level and exit will be handled when fast trix crosses defined obos level with closed candle and currrent timeframe

Your fd = 2010; do you mean FastTrixDirection for entry only with no closed candle and fresh signal not required? FastTrixDirection for exit is ignored? Correct?

The trix pulls the correct hot value. I have not been able to unload the previous trix from the EA, I think because the deafult indi is 1.2. But a backtest using the different hot give diff results, so im failry sure it works.


The fresh signal works based on the comparison of the indicator behavior on the previous candle and the current candle.

Let use the Fast Trix as the only Entry for Signal As a test, all other inputs have been removed

Notice

0 = Give a new entry only when Trix changes Color.... i.e you will not get two buy trades or sell trades on the same trix leg ..... only if the trix changed state (log, then short) would it give signal

1 = The EA entered immediately based on the color of the trix, it did not compare the last state of the trix

2 = The EA only entered on Fresh changes of the Trix Direction

Now the system uses the fresh signals under a Group Condition

Where the complexity arises is when the you mix the cross and the zero level into the equation, then you get a an almost infinite permutations to play with.

My Suggestion.... Turn of all inputs .. Try and Get the Trix on the current time frame to behave exactly as you want it. Using the:-

FastTrix
SlowTrix
Cross
ZeroLevel



In the Example you gave

Fast xx2x
Slow [xx2x
Cross xx2x

will not work, because the previous trix are required to be fresh anf the cross, which means you want the SLOW and FAST and CROSS to all occur at the same time.

It is more ikely for the Fast and Slow to happen the same time (most times the Slow is already in place and you need the Fast to get there, which is why the Cross = xx1x works, because you are saying

I want Fresh Fast and Slow and they should have crossed

Since the cross is the most important I would use

Fast 2010
Slow 2010
Cross 1020

Which mean
Always try to enter when Fast and Slow in the Same Direction and The Trix Crossed when the Candle Closed
