DislikedAbsolutely; although your leverage in Forex is better, FX futures is a way better market. I apply what I see on my FX futures charts to Forex and at time trade off them instead of a Forex chart. Futures are regulated and Forex is not, that makes a major difference and one worth looking into if your account size is large enough.DislikedThanks for the information on eSignal. So far I have only been trading FX spot/cash market for the past three years and doing ok (1% to 5% a day).
Are you saying then FX futures is a better market to trade in terms of true volume, pa, order fills, brokers not trading against you, and better profitablity?

DislikedGet IBFX real accoutn, not sure how much is minimum deposit - maybe 10 or 20 usd.. maybe 1 usd for mini account, and You will get real data feed , which i found mainly the same as esignal. If there is some small difference sometimes, i havent seen in last year that this difference should change my view for market in that time..
So, i found IBFX very good for me.
Best,

DislikedI think you're both talking about diferent things, correct me if I'm wrong:
- Sonofsin5 is saying he uses FX Futures' volume (charts) to trade the spot forex;
- disegnosys understood that Sonofsin5 actually trades the Futures instead of the spot, and asks if it's better to trade the futures instead of the spot.Ignored
DislikedHi all,
How are you doing in the weekend? I took time to update my previous two indicators, volume monitor and hma monitor. Now they can display gracefully at corner 0 and 1. For new coming users of them, please make sure "AllAverages_v2.1 cc.ex4" and "BetterVolume 1.4.ex4" are in your indicator folder.
cheers,
