A swing high looks to have been made. This one could be good. Patience is the key, as always.

Trickly little bastard, Kiwi filled the gap and exploded higher. My aussie and kiwi got stopped out for -35 each. Tough market currently and I'm out of it except for my eur/aud long.

there are options in play at 0,9475 - 0,95
I had advised you on Monday not to short it when it was below 0,93.

this and RBA selling should slowly stop the rise and a drop could be seen after one or two days of consolidation

pullbacks, that could also be important and towards 0,91 - 0,92, are probably good chances to go long again.

also, considering that 0,9389 was a 2 years high, I guess it gave way bit too quickly not to be restested again quite soon as support...

honestly, this might sound crazy, but this pump is very reminiscent of 08.....I remember then everyone though au was going to parity....it collapsed right about that time after a big run up like today. There was some bs rumor today from goldman(yea of all firms) that said fed will implement QE in nov that sent dollar bulls scrambling for exits. They're just fear mongers....this move was buying a rumor imo

From my experience, this is what markets love to do, get everyone long then drive it out on them. I'm sure just about all au and eu shorts were liquidated today, what better time for the big boys to go short? When markets are completely irrational is when the best entries are made.

It could start heading for the gap now.....im short from 9394

You and I are on the same page. We need to grab a beer one day! I too am short at 9400. The Aussie's don't want their currency to go to parity...they are exporters!

I'm currently suffering some sort of "trader's block" no open positions since last sunday I have missed all the spikes. Charts are there but none are clear for me atm.

But I really want to short the aussie from here.

It is tempting isn't it? I'm a little weary of shorting this atm. I'd feel more comfortable going short if there was a catalyst of some sort. I've been missing moves too. Been sick as a dog lately.

haha ya. i'm looking a dramatic drop soon though to retest March 2009 lows and go far below.

Fortunately I'm not sick at all, just busy on the "real job". Looking to the charts from time to time trying to find a clear setup. Also I'm little biased to go long on the AUDJPY but that rapid rise on the AUDUSD discouraged me. So I'm only looking, subconsciously, for long positions, not letting my self to trade freely.

get ready to be north of parity... we are compressing for psych outside wave break which is technically already triggered on month.. with daily a bit over extended a pullback to 90-91 may be seen with trend resuming long with lt outside wave break. long story short im still long unless the pa says move to no position.

here it is!..............very high volume on the 60 pip wick spinning top....aud was unloaded here. Ill add on any spike up.
