I turned 100 pound account (it still a demo account) into 150 pounds today with 0.50 per PIP. Here were my trades.

Eur/USD = 40 pips
USD/CHF = 32 pips
USD/JPY = 31 pips
USD/CAD = 8 pips (not sure if this trade was done on a 4h time chart looks odd to me)

I am still running another trade on the USD/CAD which I am shorting and I am 8 pips up.


Anyway 111 PIPS banked today !!

Honestly I have never ever made 111 PIPS in my wildest dreams !

I am in total shock its a bit insane i expecting some turn of events to even up the scores this week and bring me back to reality.

Very glad to see this numer of pips earned by this code. I think today was a good day for trading which triggered this much of signals. Typical days maybe you will see around 60 pips as an average.

I do not really understand indicators, but do know this: rather than have separate indis for 4 and 5 digit crims, have one that will identify the number of digits in the quote and take things from there.

I think the attached does this. When you are sure it works equally well on 4 digit crim accounts (I have only tested it on 5 digit), then simply delete the 'Mod Steve' from the indi name and replace the current versions with this single one.

BTW, just closed a demo long on EURGBP using Steve's MPTM to manage it: $23 Monopoly dollars profit on 0.1 lot. Could possibly have been left to run for longer, but I had the trailing stop tightening to lock in profits and it did just that.

mostashar15, anyone who spends 5 years developing a system then shares it with others deserves some attention.

In order to code an ea to trade signals from the indi, it needs to store something in a buffer that the ea can interrogate to see what the current status is.

Looking through the code, there is no such buffer but I see these three lines of code:
string advisor = "HOLD!";
advisor = "Go Long";
advisor = "Go Short";

If someone here can add a buffer that holds:

 

  1. 0 for "HOLD!"
  2. 1 for "Go Long"
  3. 2 for "Go Short"

at these points, then I can take things from there.

Ok, so I am going to play with this, but an indi coder can probably save me a shed-load of chaos and confusion.

I was watching some of the failing signals. As you see once there is a trend up, the candle will move above EMA(5,close) {the green line} and after some time, it will retrace back to test EMA(5,close) and continue moving up.

I noticed whenever the prices is over 25 pips above EMA(5,close), then it re-traces back. Therefore, I am thinking to add a new condition which is Close[0] is not more than 20 pips above EMA(5,close) in case of long and not more than 20 pips below EMA(5,close) in case of short.

I believe this will not affect number of trades dramatically. but rather will improve profitability further.

Any suggestions and thoughts?

less trades + better profit > more trades and less profit...

why exactly those 7 pairs and no other pairs?
do u have special reasons ?

Ok, we will keep using the current version for more time and collect more feedback.

Regarding the 7 pairs, there are two reasons:

 

  1. They gave me better results with old versions but to be honest with you I did not test on this version.
  2. The other reason, is that I like to take pairs with no more than 5 pips max spread and as per my broker FxSol, it is those pairs.

This indicator will not do any trading for you. It is all manual. Our friend Steve is working on developing EA to do it on Auto.
