I am foresee a breakout of a recent high in AUDUSD.
Daily is on uptrend and so it H4. Any comment welcome.
I am considering to long at the confirmation of MACD in 1 hours time.

Edit: give it a miss due to px too far from EMA21 in H4.

Guys :/

Let me know if I am wrong. GDPUSD moves sharply and thus risky. I try to trade it but somehow don't succeed.
Have you applied Phill's strategy direcly or some adjustment is needed to avoid risk?

I am focusing more on daily now after learning from our dear friends. From daily, it seems to me that the price is stuck between EMA365 & SMA200. No trend at the moment but in trading range. Price might move between these 2 MAs until it break out.

Hi Lukis,

GU is a lot harder to trade than EU or UJ especially this week because BOE interest rate decision is today.

More and more good news seems to keep coming out of Australia. Today we had the Employment Change which was very positive. Last week, in Australia, we had better than expected Retail Sales and Building Approvals followed by better than expected GDP. Technically for AU we are coming up to major resistance so we will see what happens.

Good to know that I have did a correct analysis on AUDUSD although I am not in the trade.

I have just shorted USDJPY again at 83733 base on daily showing this pair is on downtrend and H4 showing confirmation on MACD. Hope my analysis is correct...

Can you share how you trade the system on daily or can you share what you learnt from your friends ?. I have not been able to find a way to trade from the daily chart with minimal risk.

I learn to determine what is the generate trend from daily and find entry point base on H4.

having shorted eurusd @1,2720 last gmt night at 4h candle close. r=60.
1/2 r reached,trade set to be. curious if price will make it through lower tl ...

edit: tl held, be hit

price has moved down to 1r at tl and then retraced. however tp was at 1,5r

might re-enter on break of lower tl ...

at candle close trading bounce off 21ema, short @1,2694, r=105, tp=1,5r

edit:
price had reached 0,5r over night, but then retraced.
at 0,5r I would usually set a trade be, but in this case I was asleep so the trade is still active, unfortunately in negative territory right now ...

edit:
keeping the position over the weekend. could have closed it be but I decided not to ...
still it looks to me as if price is maintaining pressure to downside

Close 1/2 of my position last night before US Unemployment Claims report at be. Actually, after I shorted this pair, it did went to a low of 83475, a paper profit of about 27 pips. However, I did not set the remaining 1/2 to be because I know if I want to continue to ride on the position over the US Unemployment claims, there is going to be high volatility. The price went up to 83917 after the announcement but come down again immediately after the news. I continue to hold on to my position until this morning when I see MACD in daily is continuing moving upwards, I decided to cut my losses at 83998 because H4 MACD is also giving the same signal. Did I make any mistake? Any comments welcome.

You were right to close your trades before JPY news which was an half hour ago and caused some volatility to the yen pairs.

I am watching this pair closely. In Daily, price break above EMA21 & down trendline but unable to hold above these resistance forming a long tail. In H4, it was unable to hold about SMA89 and have come down with big bearish candle back below SMA89. I am waiting for price to come down below EMA21 in H4 and will confirm against daily for a entry signal.
