I do feel that stop loss will have to be double the size of the pips , in other words it would be 100 pips if one has 50 pip renko etc.

I had a variable adding when it should have been multiplying.
Any reason why it should not be 1 candle ago rather than 2? This reminds me of a gamblers Roulette system, betting on one before the last (Red/black, high/low, odd/even), which would have made you money except for 2 low, 2 high combination. I suppose this would be profitable on highly trending pairs and or volatile pairs (in other words any currecny where you get 100pip+ runs. Will stick it on demo and see how it goes.

Inside the square brackets, we put a digit that refers to a particular candle. '0' means the current candle. Therefore Open[0] will give us the open price of the current candle.
From here only requires the slightest overcoming of our schoolday maths teaching. We are taught that that numbers to the left of 0 are negative numbers, -1, -2 etc.
When thinking about previous candles, we traders are looking backwards in time but have to drop the negative bit of the digit. Therefore, the open price of the previous candle is accessed by Open[1] not Open[-1]. Two candles ago would be Open[2] and so on. The same applies to Close[], High[] and Low[].

Is this an acceptable trade? If not, sing out and I can make the necessary adjustments. As described in my previous post, this is a simple thing to do.

When all else fails and you have mucked the source up irretrievably either 1) re-download the source or 2) press ctrl + Z (undo) until you return to the state on entry to the editor. You would be amazed to learn how often I have to resort to this.
