Not sure. Maybe its the criminals at work? If I were you, I would just reload all the indicators and the EA. And make sure you compile it first after moving them in the appropriate folders before starting up the platform.

I have noticed that new versions released from few days do not trade correctly (very few trades). Also on BT. I don't know why.
So I recall the last good version (I think) was from 19-08-2010 and I add a protection that avoid trading when Daily ATr > a value that I set in init()
I protect trading in IsDirectionStillValid(), please tell me if it's correct

Not yet. Fixed lots. But remember relative drawdown is independent of lot size. Margin calls aren't.

Strangely enough, ever since that guy brought up the issue of no alerts I've been getting nothing all day.

Currently on USDCHF, it should be lined up for a buy alert but not even. I'm used to the EA not placing trades even with alerts since certain parameters often have not been met. But now the indicator not showing any alerts is confusing the crap out of me. I've already redownloaded, copied over all the necessary indicator files, and compiled them with nothing. We'll see how this works overnight.

I have two buys open ...a #3 and a #1. The EA wants to close these two trades at BE. This is a regular occurance. They should be treated independently? Or am I missing something in the settings. I am not running the MPTM.

Just got up and checked my charts. Got two alerts, one at 01.55 and other at 04.34 first for UJ second for GU both state 'classical bullish divergence' and green arrows placed on the FX5_MACD divergence indicator.

Still got the 'Not looking for a trade trigger' message on the dashboard. Still don't know whats going on !!

I'm missing something for sure.

Thanks for this version. I see it sets the lot size at 0.4 despite what is set in the inputs. Is this jammed on 0.4 for any reason or is this a bit of a bug??

no it's because I coded 0.4 lots in hard way in init().

Some improvements :
- Add Allow1, Allow2 ect
- Simple Recovery system, each level have it's own multiplier
- RentryLine Pips is a multiplier of DailyATR

If the pair is in this case we can increase the lots size !!! (not yet tested)!!!

further to do : Avoid trading long if the pair is OB, Avoid trading short if the pair is OS

Thanks for your version maxou! I also had much better success with the older versions of the EA. I actually went back to the glitchy recovery one 2.4.2 that set all the T/P the same if recvoery had kicked in for any pair. It works consistently and should recovery kick in and close any pairs. I just reload the chart and EA for that pair allowing it reset. And reloading all my charts at the end of the week. Seems redundant but I still have to put in a little effort given the fact that the EA is averaging me around 300 pips per week so far.

for great improvements, and I will test too , and you have right that last version takes very few trades, but version (in post) 1-2-4, (29.08) works great, so I please you if you can to ad on that version all your improvements, or just add as option 1-2-4 recovery please, I have 90% with that version on some pairs.....
and to sett back lot on 0.1 as default, coz 0.4 maybe is too much for many traders here ......

looking forward to test your modeled bots
