Guys,

Please correct me if I am wrong but I understood this thread to have the sole purpose of developing an EA that works effectively. This when combined with the purpose of a 'thread' itself, that being to assist others, would dictate that we are here to help each other to learn and progress; and Tread truly gains my respect for the effort put in to help and assist everyone. However it seems others in this thread have different motives.

For those of you who have been trading for a short period and are relying on this thread as an easy solution, shame on you. Go back to basics, learn how to trade manually and then develop your EA's accordingly.

But for those of us who have been trading manually successfully and are now joining this thread to help assist others in developing this EA, correct me if I am mistaken, there is little point in posting results that have been obtained using your specific EA setup if that setup is not being shared with everyone else. I have been configuring the EA for a while now and when I see consistent positive results, everyone in this thread will be the first to know. I cannot understand why you continue to post positive results Ricmi but then do not wish to share. There can only be two reasons (unless you would kindly avert me to a third). Firstly, that your results are incorrect and not based on the EA (regardless of the level of automation you use with the EA); or secondly that you do not wish to help others. In relation to the second point, I can understand your frustration in not wanting to help those looking for an easy ride, but does that mean the rest of us should now suffer. Even then Ricmi, consider this, for you to have arrived at where you are in your trading experience today someone (if not many people) must have helped and assisted you along the way. I ask only that you do the same.

Thank you and happy positive pips to all members of this thread.

To everyone: don't pay attention at those who show you an exciting graph (backtest or forwardtest) of any robot or manual trading without explanation who it was done. It is not a secret that there are a lot of people who feel proud when they have something that other people don't have and if they share their treasure with somebody they lose this pleasant feeling. Another reason may be that it is just a photoshop picture which has nothing to do with trading. I am studying the THV manual system and the EA's from this thread during several last months and unfortunately I don't yet have stable satisfying results. Testing the EA I try many kinds of sets in various currency pairs and timeframes and I hope I shall get something really profitable once When I have such a set I promise to share it with everybody. To those who already has a smile reading this I can just notice that I am not so stupid as you think: I am a math teacher and have a PhD degree in mathematics.

Folks

Ricmi has done the most important part, he has shown you that the EA works on some level. his results are showing on M15 and M5.

He has already said that he uses this in a semi automatic way. For those actually trading the method and following the THV thread, you would know that I use this EA in the same way and have been very successful in using it as a PROMPT for possible signals, and doing the further analysis before making LIVE entries.

Ricmi has stressed that you need to know the THV method MANUALLY.

Lets all remember this, it is a free thread, Ricmi is not compelled to post here, and does not benefit personally from doing so.

What he has shown, is that if you are experienced enuff, trading the EA in a semi automated way can be very profitable.

For what it is worth about 2 weeks ago, i posted trades/charts taken using the EA as a signal provider on the THV thread with total pips earned in a 7 hours period of 400+ Pips. The M1Set file in the presets folders is what i Use

My Advice ...learn to trade the Manual THV, when you are proficient, configure the EA to aide in your trading, this is where most of the benefits are derived for now.

Using the same M1 set file, and manual confirmations see the pic attached for trades taken on a LIVE account, with the same setfile.

DO NOT TRADE THIS EA LIVE.

I do so because I have traded the manual way a very long time, the trick is knowing which trades to take. For now manual analysis of signal is still needed.

PS: Following the golden rule that Money is Silent (if you had an EA making that kind of money would you be posting here????), the fact that Ricmi is still posting here should mean something

PPS: THV THREAD http://www.forexfactory.com/showthre...88#post3987388

PPPS: first day vacation still posting on the forums

Hello all,

I have been silently working on .set files for this EA that work in both backtest and forward test for a while, and would like to see more focus on finding profitable settings and having us all work as a team to find settings to make this EA amazing (it certinly has the potential).

I beg you all to stop filling this thread with complaints about other people not giving you the 'get rich quick' key. Lets work for it ourselves. If nothing else, we have been given a goal of what we hope our settings will one day yeild. I encourage more people to share sets of different types (longer term trades, scalpers, ect) and we can work as a group to modify them to meet different criteria. I am sure we can pull together and find some winners.

Unlikely as I about 46 charts running the EA simultaneously over 5 different brokers and several computers. And have not had that particular problem.

Was the program running for while before this happened? Or did it happen shortly after the program was opened?

How many pairs running the EA in one metatrader?

The EA only controls a pair. It both happened at the same time it is unlikely it's a bug in the advisor, did you have any problems with your internet connection? Was there multiple logins showing up in the Journal Tab?

Will follow up tomorrow

Tread another question. Often advisor closes deal for no reason. As here for example. Why?

Ozma as Tread mentioned, this is not a bot! He uses it as an alert to look at the chart and to decide to get in. I have been using this in this method using his default sets for 1 + 5 min charts and have been successful. I use cavemanager as a trade management tool on another chart once im n the trade.

Have you tried trading the system bare without the use of this EA?

Once u understand the core system then you will be able to understand the EA more. This is how i learnt and this is how everyone should learn it. There is no such thing as free money so work at it to get it working.

Right now you are getting too involved in the EA whilst still trying to understand ADX and learning how indicators line up. This is asking fro trouble. If you had practiced the system trading them manually, you would be able to answer a lot of the questions that you are asking. You can continually ask people but at no stage is it adding value to your trading. What if one day the EA breaks, what will you do then?

I suggust you go back to basics, learn the core THV system with ADX, trade it on your own manually so you fully understand the concept of trading ADX across timeframes and then play with the EA.

Just my 10 cents worth to encourage peopl to learn this system properly. It is a powerful system once you know how it works.
