Yes I tried that, maybe Im doing something wrong or the platform could be congested with indi's. evertime I load it the platform closes. I thought that maybe if I had the indi already without me trying to mess with it-it may work, but I will keep trying.

As mentioned it was posted by Tread. I cannot remember where it is. Do a thorough search under Treads posts and u will find it.

Hello everyone, I'm new here and this is my first post, I've been reading several pages of this thread and I'm really interested about this great system, it's really straight-forward. Still getting used to the rules and try it on Demo account to get the "feel" of it.

i'm trying to decide under what circumstances would i want the audible alarm to go off.

i am thinking either m1, m5, m15 all agreeing or m1, m5 all agreeing... or m1, m5 and the fast trix only on the m15 all agreeing.

what do you guys think?

If im trading the M1 then i just wait for M1 + M5 confirmation.

If M5 then M5 + M15

If you wait for confirmation of too large time frame, then you will be getting into trades late..

I'm curious as to what criteria you use for the M5 and M15. Can you please share? Thanks.

which adx timeframe is more important then? let's say you are trading the M1. so you are using M1+M5 trix and obviously you have the adx on all time frames there as well on screen, but which one is of more importance? the adx on m1 or m5?

i know thv is recommended when there is momentum in the market.... does that mean the asian session, it would not work at all? or hard to tell?

Try to find Tread posts, he explained very nice working with ADX,

Hi

If im am not feeling the 1 min chrt i flip to the 5 min chart to watch THV.

So in the 5 min I am waiting for the normal THV conditions to tie up. I also wait for confirmation form the ADX ont he 5 min chart and also the 15 min chart ADX. Once they are good then im in a trade.

Hi Chiba

If on the 1 min chart i watch the ADX carefully on both M1 and M5.

Ideally i want M5 to confirm the same signal on ADX as M1.
These will be the strong trades.

However, if the 5 min ADX and DI is above 25 and on the M1 the DI is above 25 with the ADX not far behind it, then i also get in on those trades keeping a tight stop as these will not be as strong.

Also, on the ALL ADX indicator i only have 2 ADX on it. so on M1 i only have M1 and M5. On M5 i oly have M1 and M15

Hello, trix looks different on Multichart compared with the traditional trix on THV3.
Is this due to recoding by Stratman and is this significative regaring our trading purposes?
The picture below shows clearly that 1min tvh3 trixx is next to cross while 1 min trix on multichart has crossed already

It`s because Stratman uses for his trix mini charts "hot" parameter 1.2 and V3 version (picture to the left) uses 0.7
1.2 is a bit faster. It`s up to you to decide which parameter to use.

Folks, on vacation here, so no charts to post, here's my 2cents on the ADX before the Forex police (aka Wife) shuts me down.

Watchin the M1 ADX is critical for entry. Treat it the same way you woud the M1 Trix

When using MTF Entries, think of it like a foundation, with M1 as the foundation that all the entries stand on.

When entering a trading you want this in your favor, as this will give a high probability that the trade will go in you favor from entry. Otherwise you could end up in a situation where the M5 DI is good, but you still went negative.

Also the better the separation between the DI's indicates a stronger trend, where the DI is stronger than the ADX crossing the 25 line, and the space between DI is opening rapidly, this represents a breakout,

Just load up a chart and add the ADX and watch the history of strong trends and the ADX behavior
