i have a lot of respect for bars which where caused by news. any advice on how to deal with this beob?

I am just going to wait and see if anything forms on the daily at the close today.

I don't like the time that these smaller TF PA bars have formed,

well, the markets tend to slow down/go into chop mode from about 12:00pm EST until 3am EST.

I prefer trading the 4hr bars on the London open. Just an observation I have made over time.
Many choose unhappiness over uncertainty.

Hey aserbfx,

jonnyislost made a reference to this bar a few posts back. It's an example of a good bar in a bad location in my opinion. I wouldn't trade it because of where it was headed. Notice the gray box to the left (see attached).

It could still head down, but not worth it. Just my thoughts.

Yeah, a very boring time indeed.

Just want to share a past moment..

I remember a long time ago, I had an order on gold at 891 sell. I thought market would not move much so late after this time and didn't put stop loss. Oh, how can I forget that Bernanke speech that day, all of a sudden within few minutes, gold hit 950 and my account was hit. I didn't believe gold actually moved 60$ so late. A very sad day. It cost me so much to learn that stop loss is a must...

I just started making videos a week ago on youtube as well. For the quality, you can get it to 720p with camtasia. After you drag your video into the editing bar you'll get a pop up. (Picture below)...Just select HD (1280 x 720) and it should process the video in HD quality. I made my own HD preset (easy to do) before I knew that camtasia offered it at default.

Let me know if it works. Here's my video with the 720p quality

I need the viewpoint of someone who has trades James16 system for some time now.
I have a fulltime job, live in South Africa (gmt +2)
Before I start reading/learning the system, I would like to know this:
Will I be able to trade this system on the daily candles bearing in mind that I work full time. eg, do you need to actively manage a trade once in the market?

Any help/suggestions would be aprreciated before I start with this 4000 pg thread.

Welcome

No you don't need to actively manage your trade IF that is how you choose to build your method. For example some people set their stop losses and take profits and check at the end of each day. Others will use an EA to help move their stops to b/e etc. There isn't one exact way so you will have to see what feels the most comfortable and still not interfering with your job.

Kinda like this setup on this exotic pair, kinda huge spread though, 100 pips But the pair is pretty volatile. Bar close in 20 minutes.

I never even look at these kind of crosses. I've never seen James or Mike trade em too to be honest. Food for thought.
