Right now on FXCLUB's ACT Trader platform average spread is 1pip. On majors of course.

Some times it shows zero spreads but I am not sure if you'll be able to execute your trade at this price.

interactive brokers...generally .00005 spread on majors, and tight on others.
get away from mt4 crap and you'll find decent brokers.

90% of time, if you add commission to the spread, Oanda is cheaper than MBT in all currency pairs, I know it because I have accounts in both brokers.

Check oneclick plugin in MT script to see depth on MT ECN

If i remember correctly, Refco futures customers from the regulated onshore entity were made good, Refco FX clients (which was offshore) lost most of the funds. That would be more a case for regulation, rather than against.

{quote} There are usually only a couple reasons why people don't realize why it would matter: 1. You're a longer term trader- 1-5 a day, etc. 2. No matter what style of trader you are, if you're losing money, connection never seems to be an issue. If you consistently make money day after day using a high freq short term strategy that involves 100-200 transactions (not RT) a day and aren't having connection issues, I'd love to hear from you.

heh shivanshu

Let's discuss about spreads again! Retail brokers often call their average spread 0,2 - 0,4 pips on majors as "raw" and say that they are transparent. However it is far from a truth. For example my average spread on majors is currently lower than 0,1 pips - that is true interbank market spread.. So do not let them to cheat you!

A True ECN doesn't have spreads - you are the spread - you can create your own 0.1 spread if you so wish .

You pay brokerage for the privilege.

I do NOT understand you. Are you saying that true interbank market doesn't have spreads? There are both positive and negative spreads, however interbank market has spread.. but of course no commission

Could you, or anyone please tell me if you had some troubles withdrawing money with this broker?! Other than that they look great... I'm choosing a broker to try my luck, but I would try with small deposit
