dont tell me he is buying when he can clearly see what the market is doing...i heard he did the same in 2008 when the market was dropping, he was buying...unless he just send signals he dont trade himself

I thought the fund was supposed to be getting audited. That's what the trading blog said anyway.

Why can't you just call the auditors.

Well, that's not true, I trust Angler, Jwentro, Billflet and some others.
I have no opinion on posters I dont know.
And I only not trust posters making outrageous claims, or posters to whom things happen that ordinarily don't happen to people.
It's the same as in real life, if somebody tells you a story that sounds strange, then you don't trust them either, forum or not.

WOW,

When investign in a managed forex fund, you normally open an account in your own name with the broker in question, and grant a LPOA for the manager to trade. You don't directly transfer funds to the manager, they need a banking licence to be a deposit taking corporation.

So unless the name is BlackRock, or some large deposit takign institution the funds always stay in your own name. Any issues call up the broker an revoke the LPOA, and get your money back.

Due dilligence.

Good morning, I am a member of Jackogroup on his blog. I invested a year ago to 5 000 USD Jacko Fund. Jacko wrote that the Fund will close and I wrote to him our bank details. I sent him five emails but as I got no response. I fear the worst is that Jacko was a fictitious person, and I lost all my money. I'm from Europe. Jacko absolutely does not respond to any email. Where is the newbietrader101, who was his friend from the beginning here at the forum?

A few weeks ago there was a lot of stuff regarding Jacko being a fraud & I posted that I had no reason to distrust him......... I said at the time I'd come back and eat humble pie if events showed me to be wrong.

Time to eat huimble pie, all I've lost is the subs to his "teaching", and I've both learnt something and can live with the loss. I really feel for you guys that invested, Jacko had one of the very very best reputations on FF and it seems highly likely that he was a fraud all along, that is very disappointing. I do hope you guys can track him down and get something back.

I can't remember who it was that told me to wake up and smell the coffee, well I've just poured another cup to go with the mountain of humble pie I'm now eating.

The fact that people are coming out to say they invested $5000 is enough for me to see hes a scammer. If he is as successful as he makes out to be from past businesses and trading, wtf is he doing taking $5000 off people. Maybe he can trade and knows his fundamentals but I think all the stuff about Mark, his large fund, past businesses is rubbish. Is it even possible to track him down? His name obviously isnt Wayne Jackson and he prolly isnt in his 50s and probably doesnt live in Hong Kong.

I wanted to meet him and see the operation (I live in Thailand) before I invested. I kept asking (via email) when a good time to go to Hong Kong would be? He was always too busy or his mother was there or something or other always came up. After a couple months of this he sent me an email saying they upped the minimum in the fund. I kind of lost interest at that point.

Has anyone actually met Wayne Jackson?

Hopefully, this will work out for those who invested.

I was a member of his group a couple of years back and feel i got my money's worth out of it but i must admit at the time of joining, i wondered why i was sending my $500 to a person named L A Knowles. (he must have altered it to the Jackson Fortress name for later subscribers.

I must admit that i never suspected Jacko to be a scammer and i sincerely hope he isn't - good luck to everyone who has invested with him.
