This system has definite potential with some fine tuning. Infact I have been trading similar system with other pair of currencies for a while with fair amount of success. I use Renko chart a lot usually 50 pip renko. Because it is 50 pips the trend seem to continue for a while. So I trade these currencies with a 50 pip stop loss and reverse. Following are the trades I opened about 4 hrs ago.

This system is like a riding on a smooth road and suddenly into a ditch. At one point it was up 450 pips and now down 10 pips. Not for faint hearted !!.

man dont hold it until next day ..when u meet ur daily target (u should have a trading plan...) just close and exit..

welcome back, it is a great system
What's the concensus for the best time to enter trades? I trade with Oanda, and if there really is no "best" time, I'll continue to enter when the average spread cost is at its lowest ebb.

My $1,000 demo account was earlier in profit more than $40 while trading with only a modest micro account ($.10 per pip).

I'm interested in anyone else's trading results with this strategy.

I would also like to see Looser back.
Sounds like he doesn't even know why he can't post.

I am attaching an EA for those that are interested in closing all trades (open and pending) at specified profit. It also trails the whole basket.
I didn't tested yet. I hope it works well.

Averaging works for me
I closed all my positions for a small loss. Six stoplosses were hit. I think the 30 pips stoploss needs some adjustment. Sometimes a stop and reverse position would be opened, only to have that new position taken out again by the 30 pip stoploss.

I will make the following modifications to the original strategy:

1. Open all long positions in one account and all short positions in another account.

2. Use 50 pip stoploss so less chance of getting caught by whipsaws in price.

3. When one account shows a 1-2 percent profit, close all positions for that account.

4. If the other account is showing a loss, simply allow all positions to run till account breaks even or back to profit or when all positions have been taken out by the stoplosses.

I just closed my short account with slightly over 1% profit. No stoploss was hit in that account.

My long account is now showing an unrealized profit of about 1.5%. But 3 stoplosses were hit in that account. I will target about 2% profit so I can exit all positions at about breakeven.

Ok, I just closed my long account for about 2% profit. So long account broke even, and short account had a profit.
