I don't do timescales tbh. Just looking at the Weekly Gold chart tells me we have unfinished business at $1000.

There were a few of us tbf. Wormboy, Raza, Grashid all called shorts late last week if my memory serves me. And of course Gucc has been calling short for some time too.

Unless they're actively selling Euro too, I can't see anything odd about Ch behaviour today, especially when compared to Sterling and Aussie too.

what to say...any one could tell me,did this gbpjpy bearish or bullish...??

drop in price starting from yesterday NY close. If you look into the H1 cci it has
just crossed -100

Look at weekly and Daily....Weekly is more convincing for short..( waiting for candle stick confirmation)

Was knocked out of the trade. Again, I will watch what happens around 135.00 level to see if I can go up. A bullish candle on 1 hour chart tells me that we could go up again. However from the chart we could see lower highs and lower lows. Which means we could think of going short at the touch of the upper trendline.

Barely broke out of the ascending channel, and back in with conviction. I'll be looking for this to either touch the other side of the channel(and probably pop through a bit, or straddle the top of the channel up to the D1 descending TL(.6350 area).

There is also a gap to be filled at .5680 If it does break the bottom of the channel, I'll be looking around .5440 for support.

Notice the massive volume spike and rejection at the top of the channel and 23.6 fibo.

W1 pvp held for a nice ride down. Riding it down the micro trend on the m5. One last ltl in the way. Let's see if it holds or goes.

not always gj follows gu look at the daily chart for eg. you will c gj rising only after sometime... its not hit my resistance yet only when it does gj will plunge gu has hit perfectly..... c the fall gj will rise till 140 i have no doubt....

Interesting reactions to FOMC news - but London nor NY hasn't yet reacted. Nikkei is down 2.25%. I think FTSE will react similarly, and along with a likelihood of a bad short/mid term UK prognosis and overall negativity from Mervyn, should have a bearish impact on sterling.

NY closed with bearishness on the minds of traders in the approx 1.5hrs of trading time they had. Volume was apparently the lightest of any day so far this year. That means new/real money continues to stay away and the equity market is not being fully represented, given the lack of bears. But, the session was struggling to stay optimistic.

All this means risk is off, and, we should also see a down day in US equities. That should drag down sterling across the board. Everything US-ish is likely to be tarnished for the time being. A UJ breach of 85 is likely sooner rather than later. 10 year treasury yields also broke 2.79%, and that's usually terrible news for UJ. Note the past 3 economic BoE outlooks have been downgrades and reality checks to the UK economy; UK consumer confidence figures a few hours ago were terrible also - 7 points below last #'s and 4 below expected. It's not unreasonable to determine that the big boys have done a melt-up on sterling for weeks now, while the gov't agenda is very different: they'd prefer a strong dollar and weaker sterling & euro.

GU H4 also has one of the most prominent failed shooting stars 2 bars back, from Tuesday's NY session. Unfortunately it's quite different on the D1 chart, so I take that sign with a grain of salt. Today's completed daily bar may help clarify direction. Long term GU bullishness can remain in play even if the 1.557 area is visited, and the lower channel contains GU - that's my target. On the upside, I'd like to see 1.59/1592/1.594 contain and reject any breakouts. I continue holding shorts from 1.597.
