Hi Steve,
When I first started using Snowball, I ran it in bi-directional mode. Like you, I suffered several consecutive losses.
My strategy now is to pick what I consider the top/bottom and then trade long or short accordingly. This works quite well on London open. In essence, this means trading in the opposite direction of the Asian session on many occasions.
I now trade Snowball live and so far, this week, am up over 300 pips trading EU, EJ and GU. I've missed a lot of trading opportunities as well, because I don't leave my PC running all day. I, always, stop Snowball when I shut down.
