Anyone watching this one?

Looks like a retest of 1.58 to the upside

I am watching 1.60 myself. I think it will make it's intentions known after NFP.

Yeah, this is more of a "big picture" thing. I believe that someday the Chinese Real Estate bubble will pop, and when it does - there goes the world's engine for growth.....at least at the moment.

Remember guys, tomorrow is NFP - you should be reading articles, looking at charts, studying exits/entries, or better yet getting outside to enjoy your day.

The day before isn't the greatest time to be in the market.

Beautiful hammer yesterday Guys.
Technically, it was a doji, but it had everything going for it.

I was pissed off with BE trades so i TP'ed as it retraced down to 1.6290 for 0.75% profit.
It might break north but even if it does (which will probably be next Wednesday anyway), there'll be another entry then along the way

My long on the USDJPY never got triggered. I watched the charts as NFP rolled out, and the USDJPY just tanked, almost down to 85. I canceled all order and wanted to stay out of the mess.

Hi Guys,

What are your thoughts on a USDCAD buy here?

My logic is that we have seen a test through the 1.02-1.03 level, a retrace and now we look like getting a weekly pin bar back up to the 1.03 level.

I will be placing a buy order just above the 1.03 level assuming this weekly candle closes out how it looks at present with SL below 1.01. Targeting 1.07-1.08 are.

Keen for some feedback guys.

Enjoy your weekends!

That's one of their few drawbacks -- They don't have 4H and they don't have Weekly.

I don't have the platform open right now, but I'm 99% sure it's: 5s, 30s, 1m, 5m, 15m, 30m, 1H, 3H, Daily.

I hated the fact that it doesn't have weekly. However, most Oanda traders I know will use a demo feed from another MT4 based broker.....

His idea was based upon the level we are at, if you look at the monthly - you can see we are approaching the last BoJ major intervention campaign.

Yes Oanda has odd TFs, but an MT4 feed from fxpro is great for charting.

UsdCad had a hammer on thursday the same with anything XXXCad. The other cad's were in a better place for me. Gbpcad being the best.

Usdjpy - Still bearish for me, until it breaks and stay above 86.30
Edit - Pins as J16 taught them just werent profitable for me. Too many times i was hurt trying to catch a falling knife, which usdjpy resembles to me. A pin on a retrace can be very profitable however

I have to say that if you trade pinbars on the weekly time frame, or even at weekly S/R, you tend to have more success.....but - you are 500% correct about pinbars on retraces. That is one of the greatest ways to trade in my opinion.

I have noticed on the Ava Fx live feed that some pairs such as UsdSgd don't have as much history as the Alpari feed. Why is that and is there anything I can do about it? I tried to download history from Metaquotes in the history centre but nothing happened.

Also, does anyone know of a website or software that I can use to scan stocks every morning that will alert me to gaps?
