I'd rather not get into the game of adding every little thing that everyone wants. If you can present a compelling argument that a proposed change will improve profitability and the OP approves it, I'll consider it.

You can't just arbitrarily set the SL to something tighter to help yourself feel better without negative consequences. The OP's original system has a 94% win rate. If you start manually entering your own tighter SL, the win rate will drop dramatically. The PSAR SL is rarely hit not only because it's so far away but also because it represents a support/resistance level. This is the nature of the PSAR algorithm.

The Fisher_Yur4ik_Correct.mq4 file does in fact go in the experts/indicators folder. Don't put it in the scripts folder, it'll never work there.
When you restart MT4, the indicator will appear under the "custom indicators" folder in MT4, not the "indicators" folder.

When the EA is running, it doesn't automatically put the indicator up on the chart. If you want to see it you'll have to put the indicator there manually.

If you're having trouble seeing the indicator, it could be that it didn't compile properly. Look in the Experts and Journal tabs to see if there are any errors there.

I tried with many currencies but the same problem. Collected slowly and loosed too much...
Any idea?

I have run some deep backtesting reports on the eur/usd and have seen the ea miss opening of some trades, and the ea taking trade entries when it should not have so I will work with stevegee58 with those.

Question. Do you put the EA on a 4H Chart?

Unfortunately, win rate has nothing to do with profitability. One loss and you wipe out all profits and then some. OP could sell it on ClickBank though

Since the EA in this post does not work properly for me, I have written my own version.
You can find it attached to this post.
All the requirements of the post #4 have been implemented.
A description of the several parameters is included in the source code of the EA.
The two files are both required.
Fisherpsar v1.0.0.mq4 -> the EA, must be copied in the "experts" folder of your client installation path.
EAHelper v1.0.4.mqh -> header file, must be copied in "experts include".

For those who doesn't open any order for a few days, check the minimum requirement for FixedLots for your broker. My broker accepts only 0.1 lots on the account I'm running. Also, you can go to Experts tab and look if there are any errors. Hope it might help.

I agree that win rate isn't the whole story. However, the SL placement with this system absolutely does NOT wipe you out with one loss.

Win rate is one variable, the others are average win and average loss. Combined they give you expectancy. This system has positive expectancy.

I suppose I could put some checks in the EA to prevent this. The minimum lot size and lot step are available as system variables but I don't use them.

I put it on eur/usd all week and its done nothing so i'm not sure whats up with this ea

I have also tried the new ea from asasa and I cannot get it to work also. Yes you would want to use it on a 4 hour chart.

Let me know if there are problems with my EA.
I was able to run asasa's EA with no problem. The key bit that's different from my EA is he has an .mqh file that has to go in the include directory as he said.
