Barring any bona fide bugs, I consider myself done at this point. The system as described by the OP is accurately captured in the latest version of the EA.

It's a pretty good system so if anyone wants to attempt to improve it, be my guest. Just be sure to leave my identifying header in the source file.

On a losing trade I did not see it taking the double position of the losing lot price.

Did you see it working on your side.

I just tested it with MM turned on and doubling turned on and it worked. However I noticed that if you turn up the risk too high it won't double. So it worked for Risk=1,2,3 but not 4 or greater. I don't think it's from running out of margin.

Version 1.6 attached. Found a silly bug and fixed it.

Something to point out is that with MM and doubling turned on with, there are limits to how high you can set the risk. It's less than 50%.

Is there any chance you could add an option for a fixed stop loss instead of the PSAR? I would really like to see what different numbers do to the win %. It might make this system less risky then.

My idea is that when all the conditions required by the method are matched, we open a trade, then we check the value of the ATR at the previous candle (for example let says that is 0.0045) and set it as TP (so it would be: entry price + 45 pips).
Well took my first live trade with v 1.6 ea and it won with the nzd/usd +10 pips @ 8/2/10 @ 4:00.

stevegee58 looks like the bug is worked out and the execustion on my backtest was excellent .. thank you !!

Sorry for the flurry of releases. The bug fix in version 1.6 was kind of a hack and won't handle all cases. The fix in this version is better.

Now my question, is it possible to trade several pairs simultaneously with this EA?

It will trade several pairs simultaneously BUT you have to make sure the Magic Number is set to a unique value for each instance of the EA. This is how the EA knows which trades belong to itself.

Thanks for the prompt reply Stevegee. That's exactly what i did with the previous version, change the magic no. of 666 to 667 and so forth for the other pairs on the 15M TF. It did made a trade on the EURUSD with the orig magic no. but no trade with the other pairs.

Hmmmm....Am i missing something?
Hey Stevegee58, do we just change the magic number on each individual pair we are trading. I have not had to open trades yet at the same time. But it has worked so far on individual pairs.

Actually, the magic number is for sorting out different strategies running on the same pair. As long as you're running only *this* strategy on multiple pairs, you can get away with having the same magic number all the time. If you're running multiple strategies on multiple pairs, you'll really need a different magic number per strategy.

So strategy #1 would have one magic number and strategy #2 would have a different magic number and could run on the same pair. And all this assumes you're running a broker that allows hedging, etc.

I'd personally run different strategies on different accounts. I'd dedicate each account to its own strategy and run it on several pairs.

So the short answer is you don't have to change the magic number for each instance (i.e. pair) as long as there aren't any other strategies running. If you want to assign a different magic number to each instance you can but it's not necessary.

3 trade with ea with multiple pairs and another winner:

Several winners also in different pairs yesterday as of this morning. Much better if we can allow the EA to open multiple trades at the same time for the other pairs, rather than wait for the current trade/pair to close.

And also if we can find a way to scale down our initial SL just like Mr. Ashkur has said. Or an open parameter where we can input our own SL to fit or suit our R/R ratio.

What do you think guys?
Where do I have to put this Fisher_Yur4ik_Correct.mq4 file?
If I put it in experts/indicators/ and restart MT4, there is an indicator, but when I move it to the chart nothing happen and there is nothing in the "indicators list" on the chart.
If I put it to experts/scripts/ it's there in the scripts list, but it doesn't take effect, if I move it to the chart.
Somehow curious...

Can someone help me pls...

The Fisher Yur4ik correct.mq4 file is an indicator, so it needs to be stored in the the indicator folder which is under the expert folder. While the EA which is the FisherPSAR has to be stored in the expert folder.

After saving them. Open your Metatrader, drag or double click them both to be installed in your chart.
