Yes there is true. I also trying to get daily target and then if time allow. As today, was on comp 1h NY open and then nothing, family, sport activity, trip to home after work. That is how i would like to plan my day. Soon, soon my friend!!!

Take your time man, FX is a long term business, we wont get rich in one single night, but as long as we can keep ourselve in positive run, we are one of the 5%. Stay cool.

Are you with MBT and also using the MT4 to execute? if so, do you reckon you can use something like myfxbook so we can follow your trades closer?

normally how you do CT trade ? as I see you do CT when reach SnR. but how you confirm its a CT and you enter the trade ?

Hi Pipfirst,

Its my view for sharing.

Yes, I did plenty of counter trend trades for years (and that's why I blew my A/Cs). I used to "guess" the turning point of a head / bottom previously without solid confirmation then failed. After study some plays from those big guys here in FF, I can do it but get more confirmed signal first.

How I determine the top or bottom now, find a solid resistance / support 1st. Usually based on daily, H4 or H1 s/r zone. Then see whether there is a double top / bottom or 123 formation around the said s/r zone. The third step is the immediate PA, such as a good pin / DBHLC or DBLHC (actually it is a pin when one step higher time frame)/ OB with 50% retrance / IB with opposite outbreak etc. If these all three criteria got confirmed, then you can jump in the boat.

Again, CT trade is much more risky then trend riding, so do ensure the SL is tightly set above / below the s/r and DONT MOVE it. If it gets hit, leave it.

You know I'm happy with 10p or something then quit, even a CT trade, there should has enough room for me to thief that little bit.

That's my thought. Hope I clear your question.

WARNING: Haha, if you are not used to play CT trade, I do highly recommend you to play Sho's trend riding way, its more safe, easier, and even you are wrong, the major trend would safe you most of the times. I meant it.

No worries bud, I just wanted to see your exact points of entry and exits, just being nosy but could help us with our trading better.

You're disciplined in happy getting just 10 pips, I'm too greedy trying to hold for more lol

Thanks a lot to all mates above and those who visit here regularly. I probably have to close this trading room a few days to get my new house fixed. So please do check Sho's thread and post your trading there as more as you can. I will drop in too during this period and join you all if I can.

Well, its terrible to fix house stuff into boxes, so far 40 boxes (around 2'x3'x3') and still lots to come. Not to mention those furniture have to be moved separately. We just get too many personal belongings during our life time..............., but actually many of them are never use again

PS - Aggressive play too
- entry at the IB while it shows a little upper wick!!
- SL set on top of yellow ~ tight risk to trade with bigger reward;
- If we wait for the closing of 1st IB then entry, then the stop loss would be much bigger, the choice is yours!!
