>>Hi, in relation to you questions, that since we are a bank the margin accounts of our clients with Dukascopy Bank SA are guaranteed up to CHF 100'000 per client.
In this respect, detailed and official information may be found on the website www.einlagensicherung.ch/en/bankkunden-link/home.htm . In particular I invite you to read the FAQ.
<<
Thank you for your prompt reply and for the link provided. I went through the FAQ and found that one of my question still remains unanswered.
Would I, as a non-swiss resident, holding an account in a swiss bank be given the same preferential treatment as a swiss national?
Also in the trading agreement-i found this clause puzzling and marketmaker'ish.
"Dukascopy is counterparty of each trade and counter trade. In some circumstances,Dukascopy may not hedge entirely or may not hedge at all certain trades. In such cases,Dukascopy may have opposite positions towards Users."
Could you please explain what the above actually means?
Regards,
Scalper
