Simple Simon,
This is ALL explained early in the thread, Tom (GibsonL6) has done a great job in explaining it again - what don't you understand? Why do you want to complicate things.
The 20/50 combination is a tool we use for many things in trading each time frame - that's all - no more - no less.
To save you toggling back and forth between Worker and Boss, we put our Boss 20/50 on the Worker BUT as Tom clearly explained, the Boss 20/50 is represented ON THE WORKER by 100/250.
So if you do it this way, your Worker has 4 MAs on it:
20/50 for the Worker
100/250 representing the Boss 20/50
We do not want or need to put on any MAs to represent the Big Boss.
Or, you can do like CrudeCraig and many others and just have the 20/50 on and then toggle between time frames.
Or, like I do, you can have a split screen with the Boss on one side and the Worker on the other.
Is this clear?

Thanks Tom,
What I knew about moving averages was if it is 20 then that mean previous 20 bars and if you are on daily that means 20 daily bars, if you are on weekly then 20 weekly bars and if you are on monthly then 20 monthly bars so was true for 50. But then there was something in one of the post where 100 and 250 with dotted line to be placed (may be it was for non MT4 platforms) where switching a chart TF is an issue.Ignored
