I couldn't resist. Took a nice short on the AU 5 min before that 75 pip drop. It kind of appears to be a sloppy trade on my part. Took it before news was released. But I had 5 different fibonacci zones telling me to short and the price of gold had been droping. So risked .25% for the technicals. The fundamental was the catalist.

I am looking forward to next week and having more time to trade.

It saddens me to hear of people trashing your trading stile and journal. You are consistently in profit, a lot can be learned from how you trade....

I appreciated that. May be we just have different view on the price pattern. I read some articles before saying that the wick would not be counted, but only look for the open and close.

I pay high attention on wicks too, as it can tell many story. But what I meant is, when the formation of DTHC / DBHC, the important point is the open and close position of 2 bars, the wicks on this case are less consideration. That's my understanding on this formation.

Nice to exchange different views.

Well in my view on small TF 15 min DBHC or DHLC we just can't say much because is too noise.Someone said even TF 4 hrs,shouldn't be different two bars higs or lows more than 1 pip otherwise we can not say it si DBHC etc.
Anyway this is only patterns without location and momentum doesn't mean much.
