do big round numbers offer resistance normally in aud? like 9000?. normal day range about done at 200 points.

i see upper bb also at 8990. daily stos still at mid range (60/50).

Thanks mrhb, so I guess you use MT4 for charting? I'm asking cause I still don't have any good charting software, one in which I can draw lines and circles etc.

crazy aussie today i was in long but i changed my positions and reversed to short from 8880 but its crazy today but i am not tensed i hedged it 50% and waiting for a retrace to get out otherwise i can't see it more then .9000 or 91000 but i can't ignore it in daily chart which is indicating me that it will hit 9000 easily by tomorrow but i can see a reversal from there because 9000 is important level and not easy to break and we will go back at least 8700 or lower before go further up...and Aussie is still bullish in long term...long term bullish trend will be change if we break a level of .7900 before that it is bullish...but right i can see it will test 9000 and then go back...let see how it goes...

Throwed in 17 futures to the short side. Let's see how tough this aussie is. Trend still down. 200 SMA overhead resistance, Butterfly formation on 4 hour, divergence all over the place.

i wouldnt average into a short trade in the aussy dollar.. unless I expected usd to raise rates and aussy to drop rates.. its to strong.

If the AUDUSD drops expect 8850-8880 area to give support. I'm trying a scalp short to the low 8900 for about 20 pips. Main chart still bullish to call a short.

If you don't start using stops then I 'd say yeah. But if you can afford to go 150 pips in the negative then I guess another 150 won't kill ya.

If you can afford to be patient you'll be fine IMO. Shorting here at 89.40 myself. Best of luck to ya.

Not a self-proclaimed expert or anything, but my elliot wave analysis says AUDUSD should be bullish

agree mostly with wave 3, and i think .908 level is the peak before we head south for the coming weeks

i think this pa is moving up with correlation only but it doesn't have Strength to go up ! i hope i am not wrong cause i am bearish and i have a short position

Hi all. I think AUDUSD is on its way to finish the wave C (in green) of an ABC correction. This C wave is almost finished (in my opinion) because it has already ended its forth wave "iv" (orange circle) and is now doing the last "v" wave to complete the ABC. Then I think a large WAVE3 is coming...

Lets see if it happens this way.

PS: Still waiting to short it.
